WallflowerCowboy Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Anime can be as enlightning as it is entertaining for me at times, and I have to say I appreciate the amount of thought put into some of these series. (Such as my profile pic, Neon Genesis Evangelion). I just ask because I know the people who appreciate these things as much as I do must have something. Quote
Flutterz Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I learned how to correctly eat a choco cornet! Thank you, Lucky Star! Krylan 1 Quote

Darkshine Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Angel Beats! showed me that you have to make the most of life and even though it can be unfair you should appreciate the life you lived because we only have one life. Quote
Nosebleed Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Gintama teaches you a ton of life lessons, i'm not even going to bother. Shinsekai yori taught me how humans are the worst creatures when they have power. Serial Experiments Lain taught me how my own existence and all my past is pretty irrelevant TTGL taught me what it means to believe in yourself more than any other show has And of course Ro-Kyu-Bu taught me how lolis are the most wonderful creatures in existence. Kaguya Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I watched most of the anime listed here until now, but I can't say I learned anything from them (or any other anime for that matter). Even when there is a lesson that I agree with in an anime (I'll just quote two of nosebleed's examples, "Shinsekai yori taught me how humans are the worst creatures when they have power. Serial Experiments Lain taught me how my own existence and all my past is pretty irrelevant") those were things that I already agreed with and knew in the first place, and watching the anime had no effect whatsoever in my decision. Well I won't disagree some of those are kind of obvious but sometimes these shows carve it deeper in your brain. At least that's how i feel about it. Quote
Yukiru Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I studied Physics so i could understand what was going on in Steins;Gate. Fullmetal alchemist taught me a few chemical reactions. School Days taught me what would happen if i became an as****e. Yugioh taught me to believe in the heart of my cards. Toaru taught me villains do not exist. Chu2koi taught me chuu2byou enlights everyday life. That's all that comes to mind. Quote
