Drakenero Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Well,as the title says,I want to know if you hate(or dislike) a character that is a yandere and/or a tsundere. Quote
Kaguya Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I can't remember any character that's both a tsundere and a yandere at the same time. An obssesive person who isn't honest with their own feelings? Sheesh, that can be dangerous. Well, I hate most tsunderes with one or two exceptions. So yeah, I hate most of them, to the point where it would be hard to make a list. I disliked the yanderes from the yandere VN. That's because that VN was just a joke with the genre, really- and it wasn't particularly funny, just kinda "meh". But overall, I like them. Quote
Tom Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 cant bring myself to like tsundere yandere is interesting though (not in rl life ofc) i rather stick with succubusdere Quote

I-it's not like i like b-baka *throws knives* I think Ayase from OreImo is close to being a tsundere/yandere actually. I dislike a lot of tsunderes but at the same time i can also like them. Depends on how despicable of a person they are really. Yanderes are usually likeable characters because they're rather extremly sweet unless you make them upset. Go yanderes. Quote

Ayase's yandere is mostly played for laughs, though, If she really had done something to him after he refused to be her boyfriend she might actually have been a yandere, but she just went away, so unfortunately she didn't get to that point Quote
Yukiru Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I can't remember any character that's both a tsundere and a yandere at the same time. An obssesive person who isn't honest with their own feelings? Sheesh, that can be dangerous. Index and Akiha came to mind but index is barely likeable and Akiha isn't tsundere and yandere at the same time. I either dislike or ignore most of the tsunderes i know, Tohsaka Rin and Index to name a few. I can't actually remember many yanderes but dislike Gasai Yuno, and Sonozaki Shion. Quote

Yukiru Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 You heard it here first, folks! Yanderes that aren't also tsunderes aren't dangerous in the slightest! Shhhh! you're gonna start another conversation about how yanderes can be docile. Quote
Kaguya Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 You heard it here first, folks! Yanderes that aren't also tsunderes aren't dangerous in the slightest! tsunyanderes are even more dangerous. Quote
wattstax Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Hmm, I try a "Back to topic" I haven't played that many VN, but so far I liked most of the tsundere characters, if they are not that annoyingly energetic and are clearly shown with their sweet side. Tohsaka Rin is a good example for this (only read the Fate Route so far). But in general there is always a sweeter girl in the mix so I hardly decide for a tsundere Yandere is totally out of the question. Meand I hate all of them! Quote
Yume Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Depends on the characters , i may like Tsundere, but if someone as tsundere as her . . . I HATE IT! and for yandere..... i give "No Comment" about it. . . Quote
krill Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 i hate kirino from oreimo god she sucks. but i haven't meet a yandere that i didn't think awww she so cute, can i keep her? Quote
Guest hairybumslapper Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I hate most, if not all tsunderes in general. They annoy the crap out of me (some more than others) and make me want to punch something. Infact, i'm surprised "Tsundere" doesn't translate to "Bitch" in english. Quote
Izuru Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Ayase Yandere Style Is The Greatest For Me~! Quote
DeadIEnd Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 The only well made tsunderes in my book are Yarai Miu, Makise Kurisu and Kazami Yuuji. Now that's good stuff. There ought to be more out there, but I'm not very familar with good tsunderes besides of them. Quote

Darkshine Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Can't stand Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. She pretty much treats Saito like dirt all the time and beats him up for stuff that most of the time is not his fault at all. I thought that maybe her attitude would improve as the series progressed but the only change in her temper tantrums is that she went from whipping him to out right trying to blow him to smithereens, and even though in time she realizes her love for him she she still shows mistrust of him and denies that she has feelings for Saito even though he does everything he can to protect her. I know she's supposed to be a Tsundere but the things she does just take it way too far. I would've ran away with either Tifa or Tabitha. B) Quote
phersu Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 tsunyanderes are even more dangerous. You should have only eyes for me. I will make it so you only have eyes for me. B-but, it's not like I'm going to pay any special attention to you. B-baka! Quote
wattstax Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I get the impression that most tsunderes are associated with violence. Is that a righteous assumption? Quote
cryofrzd Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I get the impression that most tsunderes are associated with violence. Is that a righteous assumption? Yanderes can also get violent... often with some weapon of choice. And I think there are quite a few tsunderes that aren't violent, maybe even a majority of them aren't violent. Quote
O. Van Bruce Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Tsunderes I liked: Kashiwazaki Sena Katsura Hinagiku Nagi Sawachika Eri Mahiru Inami See? There are good tsunderes out there. Almost all of this girls end being very likeable. The main problem is that the most popular image of what a tsundere is has been defined by characters like Taiga or Louise... hell, almost every main char voiced by Kugimiya Rie (not in vain she's called the queen of tsundere). And those are the violent and unreasonable type of tsundere. Quote
wattstax Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Sena is a tsundere? And Eri was likeable but also violent, as far as I remember. Quote
O. Van Bruce Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Sena is a tsundere? And Eri was likeable but also violent, as far as I remember. As I saw her she was tsundere haha And Eri was certainly a bit violent but not on the unreasonable side. If you want to talk about violent you could have mentioned Inami from the list I gave. Quote
