It's been 'nearing' completion for a while now I wouldn't hold your breath. Still months off at the current pace.

I have already played it, perhaps a year ago not knowing there was a translation. I also have played it again with the translation and I can say that I certainly would like to see their finished product.

Translation is still ongoing and still will be for at least a few months/years. Overall TL is around 96% done, but validated TL (check to see if no one input machine TL/bad translation/TL mistakes, because it's an open project) is more around 60-70% done. After that there's still a lot of editing to do. You can easily find the updates page on TLwiki.

A partial patch TL (about 50%) is available.
