I found a minor problem in your patching instructions that tripped up someone who asked me for help. It says to copy the patcher folder to the game folder, when what you should really do is copy the contents of the patcher folder over, and not the folder itself.

Indeed, I designed the patcher to work either way.

 

Keeping the files in the patcher folder was meant to reduce the clutter from the patch files.

Important enough that the VN would feel incomplete or "broken" without them? That's what I mean with extra. While nice and cute if done well, they usually (again, usually) are just some extra spice on the story.

You don't play moeges for the story. Moeges are there to make you go HNGGH and H-scenes play an important part in that.

The user asked if the VN would still feel complete without the h-scenes, though, and I most certainly play moeges for the story and the light-hearted feeling I get from them. And that feels quite personal, really. For me, characters and setting are what gives the VN the cutesy feeling, and the h-scenes are a lil extra that complements whichever route you chose.
