slamerz Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I noticed that Fuwa had an IRC, and even a teamspeak but I hadn't seen any group put together to let members really chat on the go so I decided I'd try and fix that by putting together a Line group for Fuwa. For those of you who don't know Line is a free messaging application that allows for messaging, calling, and sending videos and pictures with ease, and it is available on any platform, PC, Android, Iphone, so you can literally chat anywhere with ease. here are a few links to download it if your interested Mobile: Android Iphone BlackBerry Windows PhoneNokia Asha Firefox OS PC: Windows 7 Windows 8 Mac OS The group is open to anyone and everyone who wants to join, if you want to join you can do a variety of things. You can post your user ID in the thread and I will try my best to check as often as I can to make sure I don't miss anyone. or if you don't want your ID floating around you can send me a PM with your Line ID if you don't wish to use either of the above methods you can add as a friend yourself and send me a message in Line telling me you want in the group and I can add you that way.(my id is in the spoiler bellow for anyone interested in this method.) slamerz I hope to see you there and that this works out well Quote
Steve Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 There are mobile versions of TS3 and I am sure even IRC clients you can get for android or ios and other things. We have some people on TS connecting from their phone. Quote

Steve Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Its fine, if you can get people there it would be nice I started the TS when I joined fuwa and it was only 2 people there most of the time, but now its pretty popular xD Quote

I wish someone would take the functionality of irc and ts and make an actual mobile client designed for mobiles. Also slamerz, unfortunately people dont tend to like change here. Id be interestef in trying it if people wanted to adopt it. Quote

slamerz Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 People might be slow to change but I'll keep the group up even if it is empty just incase anyone decides to join I'm not gonna let it die for quite some time if I don't have to. Quote
Steve Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 People might be slow to change but I'll keep the group up even if it is empty just incase anyone decides to join I'm not gonna let it die for quite some time if I don't have to. As I said it took months before I got people to be active on TS and I was trying to invite lot of people who said in their intro post that they like lolis or moe You need to talk about it a lot, maybe get some specific niche (just like TS3 is THE communication channel if you're looking loli chat). It can be yuri chat or something or more lolis But generally you want to get people of the same interest there, on the forums people can have different interests and visit different topics, but for example on TS if you really dislike lolis and moe stuff then you will most likely not get that good time there and for example there is a Trap/yaoi ban on TS so if you like that you will also not get a good time there and might consider different com channel. So try finding people who like the same thing you do and invite them to your chat Quote
Guest Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I gave every single chat a try, so once I get back home i'll give yours a try too . But I don't get how yours will be different ? IRS and TS are quite active and you can talk about pretty much anything. Quote
slamerz Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 This is just a chat that is focused on being able to be mobile, and for those who didn't care for the other chats. Personally I didn't like the TS because when I joined I didn't have permissions to do anything, including talk and no real way to fix it at the time so I left and never really came back, and IRC can be intimidating for alot of people. This App is quick and simple to use, and it also has tons of cute little stickers and emotes you can use Quote
shcboomer Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Maybe I'll give this a shot on the go, but I do usually just use mobile IRC. Quote

Well you answered yourself, we need to have permission system on TS there so people who would spam or be intimidating cannot do that since they don't have permission as its not public access like IRC xD All you needed is to read the manual in the TS topic that said you need to poke me or luch for permission. Always better to prevent spammers than have to deal with them manually, that's the only reason for permission system Quote
slamerz Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Eh I just found the TS wasn't for me, I'm not a huge fan of TS to begin with, I get why it's set for permissions and stuff but still lol. Quote
