A lot of visual novels are built upon classic anime stereotypes. It's not because writers can't come up with something else, it's because that is what a typical japanese vn consumer wants/gets used to expect.

"The food, bath, or me" one always got me. I mean, it's not that common, but damn is it good when properly executed.

I know exactly y whatou mean by those two (BIB), Yuka in Never 7 and Tsugumi in Ever 17 come to mind (if they count as heroine)...

Gets me every time. Though when dragging out the "me", they usually say あーたーし (instead of わ).

Oh. I always assumed they just did either one. I've heard both atashi and watashi, so I just rolled with one of them.

Some more from me:

 

1. Non-existent locks in Japan or lack of manners to knock on doors before entering. Often leads to perverted situations.

2. Breast size competition. Apparently it's a big deal before puberty has hit.
