Narcosis Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 How about that genki character, you know what I'm talking about. Seems like almost every VN has at least one.MC who is apparently really normalAnnoying tsundere moaning bitchy characterA lot of visual novels are built upon classic anime stereotypes. It's not because writers can't come up with something else, it's because that is what a typical japanese vn consumer wants/gets used to expect. Quote
seventhfonist425 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 食事にする、お風呂にする、それとも...わーたーし? "The food, bath, or me" one always got me. I mean, it's not that common, but damn is it good when properly executed. Funnerific 1 Quote
Clephas Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 The idiot friend, who exists to be made fun of by everyone. Heroines who love cats but are hated by cats in turn. Heroines that can't cook, yet try anyway, with terrible results. Tsundere heroines that beat the crap out of the protagonist. Edit: Chuuni games where the protagonist expresses reluctance to fight but fights anyway Quote

Mephisto Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I got a plan that has a 1 in 10000 chance to get us out of this mess guys! Quote

OriginalRen Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 Some more from me: 1. Non-existent locks in Japan or lack of manners to knock on doors before entering. Often leads to perverted situations. 2. Breast size competition. Apparently it's a big deal before puberty has hit. Quote
