Partial download?

Anyway, is it possible for fuwanovel to have partial download?

 

Some people like me have a very crappy download speed. As example, 100MB will take 1-2 hour to download, 1GB will take 10-15 hour to download and 3 GB will take 30 hour to download. If fuwanovel have partial download then it can be helpful for people with crappy internet speed.

 

I can spend about 5 hour to download the partial each day and I cannot let my computer open 24/7 for reason and I have something else to do too.

I'm a little confused.

On fuwa you can download torrents.

 

But it's easy with bitorrent to pause the downloading.

Just right click and pause. It doesn't eat up your internet speed.

Additionally if you want to only download automatically lets say 5 hours a day. You could just schedule your bittorrent or whatever software you are using. To only download from 13:00 to 18:00 a clock. schedulers are rather common. You can also limit the amount of download each day etc if you want that as well.

Just pause the download when you want to leave the computer.

In fact you don't really need to pause it, if you just turn your computer off and come back it'll still be there with the same progress and resume where you left off.

 

If you want partial downloads you can use other sites. But if you say your internet is that bad then I wouldn't advice you to.

I have a suggestion. 

Why don't you decrease your upload speed. I've found that doing this significantly increase your download speed. You can find this by clicking option , then clicking preferences then clicking bandwidth.

Note that the bittorrent protocol sometimes punishes you by giving you lower dl speed for not allowing enough upload through. Depends, though, maybe at your speed it doesn't matter at all.

I do not know why but for some reason I only get like 1-10 KBPS when I use bittorrent. I tried a few method to speed up the download speed but it do not work for me. *cry like a baby in the corner*

Since we live in the same country,I know exactly how you feel.Mine is going around 10 to 20 kB/s during the day.

My advice is to left your pc and torrent On during the night as the Dl speed should rise a bit.(well if you find 40 kB's is high enough)

Yes true but at their speed uploading will significantly affect their download speed. I'm not a saying they should not upload at all though. Has it happened to you?

Don't forget that some ISPs will cap download speeds by p2p (aka BT)

Scroll down and pick bittorrent and let it run the test.

 

Try this at a time you get slow speeds.

 

ps: If its just a particular game you want, let me know, I will put it up for DDL for you if you can't use BT for it.

 

On a side note: If you aren't being capped by your ISP, I am failing to see how a partial download is better? If it fails you need to restart, at least this way, you can do a bit at a time, till you get it. Not like you can play it till you have it all anyway.
