VNoob Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I have recently downloaded the visual novel Paca Plus and after going through the procedures I was left with the setup.exe application verifying my network and connection. However what pops up at the end is an error message reading: Application download did not succeed. Check your network connection, or contact your system administrator or network service provider. My network is working fine in all aspects and still wont work even after switching the locale to Japanese. If anyone knows the solution to this please help out this noobie or is this just a case of corrupt files or being unlucky with the download. Thanks in advanced! Quote
dale Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 hmm... seems like the game needs a direct connection. Turn off your Antivirus/firewall and try, also if you're behind a router it might not work. I can't check it since I don't have the game and my connection is a little crappy so it'll take forever to download. Quote

dale Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 It can be also because of DRMs, Didn't see to much of these in VNs but it's common in other games now that you need a legal copy of the game and to play it you need to be logged in. Usually it's solved by a crack that allows the game to be played offline. Quote
