Hello guys, i am trying to translate the game RGH ~Koi to Hero to Gakuen to~ but i cant extract the data from the .xp3 file, i tried kirikiri2, xp3tools and xp3Viewer  but they dint work for me. Any suggestion?

(The xp3 file is named scenario.xp3 but there is also a file named scenario.xp3.sig any idea what that file is?)

Probably crypted. If it is so, you need to know the way of crypting, for which you have to reverse-engineer crypting method using debugger like Ollydbg or IDAPro. I do not have time for this right now, so you should or find someone who will do it, or do it yourself. Or maybe I can do it later, if you still need that by that time.

Have you try the Krkrz tool by marcussacana ? maybe this gonna work, Nekopara use the same ext so in case of... link: https://github.com/marcussacana/KrKrZSceneManager

You need to compile the project, with VS express, he create an .exe in /release/bin.

+Nakopara Vol. 2 (But you will probably need the decrypted version, which was kindly provided to be by some guy on Facebook (id MarcusTheHacker). The game uses Kirikizi Z, not Kirikiri anyway but the tool works, just need to decrypt/remove protection of the entire game, which will also reduce its size. He gave me the source code/script but I have no idea what to do with it anyway)

I wish there is a similar tool for repacking.

Srry, i exit of the "visual Novel" group after my try to make a full unc nekopara (I still do not understand the reason of receiving criticism...), i can help repack with encrypt but only for translation projects, in the case nekopara don't need....

And yes, this tool it's my (thanks for share <3)... He works with nekopara vol.2, and have a older version compiled here: https://github.com/marcussacana/KrKrZSceneManager/releases

Anyone knows what tool could extract Hanachirasu scripts from english release? It seems nipa tool do not have crypt keys for Hanachirasu. I am just curious about reading the script, as I got really bored playing the game itself.

I have extracted the files and at the moment  i am translating  the prologue but thanks for the info i'll check it out anyway

Someone can help me? uhm... I extracted the scripts of Hanasaki work spring for my first translation japanese-other language, but I tried extracting the scripts of Hatsuyuki sakura and Karumaruka Circle too, (obviously with the same tool)

I used this:

Well, as worked with hanasaki I assumed that works with other of Saga Planets, but it was not like that... I tried and showed this error:

Also, I tried extrac the scripts of Clover Day's too but no lucky ;__; if someone knows about it I would be grateful to help me :kosame:

For as far as I know, each SiglusEngine game has its own encryption keys for the scripts file. This means that the work of finding the encryption keys and adjusting the tools needs to be redone for every single game. The Hanasaki Workspring tools work on Hanasaki Workspring and nothing else.

Since I already found the Hanasaki keys, I could do this for the other games too if you want. I need the following for each game:

  • A copy of the game's memory after it started up (passing the DRM checks). This can be obtained with Process Dump by running it as "pd32 -p SiglusEngine.exe" while the game is running. It will produce a lot of files; the one I need will be called SiglusEngine_exe_SiglusEngine.exe_400000.exe.
  • The game's Scene.pck

Could someone help me extract (一番じゃなきゃだめですか?) .dat [Rosebleu's NEKOPACK .dat] files?
I tried with Asmodean's "exsteldat.exe" but I get an error "MSVCP110.dll could not be found" with CrageGUI on the other hand I was able to extract script.dat but... the title of the .txt files I got were a mess, although inside they were on their original format.

EDIT:

Thanks to @frc_ I was able to extract the files, but what I still don't know is how to merge  the .txt files back to .dat to test if the changes I made actually work.
