If My Heart Had Wings, help would be appreciated ~

Hello ~ First of all I would like to say I am not sure if this is the correct area to put this post.

 

Anyway, I have been recommended If My Heart Had Wings as my second VN experience. I looked it up and was quite interested in it. I have a few questions I would like to sort out (I realize I could probably go through the forums or internet to find my answer but as I am not feeling well I rather be told directly at the time.)

My second question .. If I was correct and the link above is where I buy the game that is the T version of it. https://fuwanovel.net/novels/if-my-heart-had-wings-restoration-patch and this patch once installed will revert it back to its original 18+ version?

 

For my last question... I am still learning Japanese and as such my vocabulary and understanding of the language is very limited. Once I change my computers region and language to Japanese will I be able to navigate my computer with ease (i.e English)?

 

As it is my first time doing this I apologize but can someone please right step by step as to what I need to do just so I don't feel as lost. I think that is all I need to know for now. Thank you in advanced for clarifying what I need to do ~

1 - Not sure about that website but it seems legit. You could also buy it from MangaGamer if i recall correctly.

 

2 - It will go back to the 18+ version with the translation made by rusanon

 

3 - Changing your non unicode settings to japanese or changing the region doesn't change your OS language so everything will be in english. You don't need to be worried about that.

 

If you however want to set the OS to japanese and you don't have a wider knowledge of the language you will most likely be totally lost and I wouldn't advice you to do that.

As for the last question - you don't need to change the system language to japanese, only the locale.

There's nothing bad in asking people for help. I'd wish more people would actually be able to do it the way you do. It would make things easier for everyone.
