It was mostly a Idolm@ster vs μ's thing Haruka got first place with almost 1000 votes. (Idolm@ster) Miki got second place (Idolm@ster) Kotori won third place and was the highest ranked from Love Live Maki was 4th and Nico was 8th For me Haruka is the best Idolm@ster girl so not many complains but obviously I wish someone from Love Live had won. Who would you have voted for as the best idol? I love how even Kisaragi Momo ended up there despite her role as an idol being so reduced in the series. Source and full list: Crunchyroll Quote

She's pretty genki and I for some reason really like her hair, she just became my favorite out of all the Idolm@ster girls. She's kind of the main heroine too. And just look at all the Haruka-sans But yeah in terms of cuteness many others would deserve that spot more. Quote
Ceris Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Miki, Hibiki, and Makoto were my favorite Idolmaster girls, but again, wouldn't really label many of these idols as "cute" since they had so much more to them than that. Maybe I'm just over thinking it.. The characters in both series are really well done though. I'm starting to spam lower LP costing songs to get friend points. Currently 8 plays of Yujo No-Change away from the 700. Doing the song 60 more times for the love gem is a bit extreme and would move away from enjoyment for me. I'll just stick to the 40 play challenges. Quote

I'm doing that too, need those friend points, it's actually proving very rewarding. Currently i'm focusing on the 20 clears. And what in the world, another normal draw and ANOTHER NEW RARE. This luck is going to bite me in the ass when the big draw comes. And guess what? In these 7 draws I haven't gotten a single Maki. I think the percentage of not getting Maki so many times in a row is lower than the percentage of getting an actual Maki. I got a new cool Hanayo, now I have all 3 Hanayos. Guess I'll start leveling up my cool team since my pure has been boosted fairly well. Quote

And in the manga of Love Live, how close are Eli and Umi? Including repeats I got 28 Rares and one SR. Uuuh I forgot, I shouldn't have deleted the volumes off of my computer so I can't check it now. But in the anime they are still pretty close, in fact they're pretty canon even in the anime I would say. And I just remembered I haven't watched today's Love Live episode. I am ashamed. Ceris Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I'm drawing a blank on S2 for some reason, but I rewatched S1 and Umi just seems to respect Eli's dancing ability and otherwise isn't seen interacting with her in any way. But in the music videos (I need to rewatch to catch most scenes) there's specific instances in them where you see Umi and Eli alone. One I can think of off the top my head is in Bokura wa Ima no Naka de, there's a scene of someone (Honoka?) running up to the room and it shows Umi and Eli walking together in the hallway. Then it also shows the scene where Eli joins the group in the PV and Umi practically throws herself on Eli's back in support. Granted Umi's personality along with everyone else's isn't really fully developed before the 4th PV, some things stay consistent, like in Snow Halation, Umi and Rin are the only two not wearing skirts, and we know Umi doesn't like them while Rin doesn't feel right in them. Eri even hugs Nozomi from behind at one point and squeezes her. One new pairing I found out was quite hilarious was Kira (A Rise's leader) x Honoka. If I look back on it, they've had plenty of moments together. And for some reason Umi x Kotori has been quite popular. Quote

And is the official romanization of her name Eli or Eri? I always spelled it as Eli because that's how MAL spelled it. Also, I'd show some examples but I'm not home and on my computer right now. And I asked about your rares because you sound like you have my luck from my first week where I got like 25 rares (including the10+1) right away. I haven't seen a rare for like 3-4 days now and I play at every moment I have LP unless I am asleep, as well as FCing and S ranking to grt like 10k friend points off those alone and several play count awards. Umi is Honoka's babysitter in my opinion. And Eri in hiragana is えり (Eri), but they romanized it as Eli because westerners like to think R is L all the time. I feel like it's more of an R though.
