And just got A-A on the event song, messed up on the doubles in the end because of nerves. I'm one of those person who plays badly under pressure 3 love gems is enough though, now I can safely do the 10+1 after the event even if I spam every single love gem I get from the event to get more event points.

Yeah, meant A-A on the daily, had event on the mind (as seen in the rest of my post) because I was happy about being able to spam love gems freely on the Nico event when it starts.

How many love gems can you get in the event if you get above 20k points? Like 12?

17k points , total 8 gem. Next 2 gem will be 25k,30k,35k points. (According last 2 event)

I really dislike how much the point cap raises for the next reward after you hit a certain level.

The points needed for the next reward sucks, but at least they give you multiple love gems at once.

Now I'm worried with the event scheduled time. I don't think the guaranteed draw is going to happen during Nico's birthday... and I was heavily relying on that to have 50 love gems by the end of the event and during the duaranteed SR draw...I was expecting the event to start on Monday, which would make the draw after the event happen during Nico's B-Day.

They give you 2/3 love gems but the amount of grinding you need to get that reward would require you to spend love gems and thus nullifying your profit since you'd spend as much as you'd gain. Hence why I never go for those rewards.

Those rewards are just for those who spend love gems and got the previous rewards and now have free time on their hands.

 

I won't have 50 love gems any time soon. I have 41 now, i'll spend like 10 on the Nico event, leaving me with 31 which will take a while to get back to 50~

dude, the amount of smile honokas I wish I had is roughly similar to the amount of honokas you have 0.0, I'm so jealous of your smile and pure teams

 

My smile team is:

-Pure SR Nozomi

-Idolized Honoka

-Standard Honoka

-Pure UR Hanayo

-Standard Nico

-Idolized Umi

-Idolized Kotori

-Idolized Nozomi

-Smile UR Nico

 

maxes out at like 34.5-35k raw points :/

The amount of difference between an idolized honoka and an idolized Umi/Nozomi/Kotori is like... the difference between my UR Nico and the very same idolized Honoka. She's such an op smile

 

I'm hoping to get some strong rares when I do my 10+1 so I can get a more reasonably balanced team, instead of putting URs with weird off-trait idolized characters like a smile Umi

My Smile team is only 33.1k, Pure is 33.8k, and Cool is 31.4k. I like variety of characters, so even if I get repeats who are supposed to be that attribute (like my many smile Nico) I just sacrifice.

Oh, and got to idolize my Pure Umi earlier, now Rin is my only unidolized Pure

The upcoming event will have that animal ver. of Nico, while the unidolized cards come from the nightwear series, just like the previous Umi. This is going to be intense.

 

On the other hand, I got my first double R card. Now I'm wondering - is it better to level up my idolized Kotori for a skill upgrade, or should I just level up the new one? Considering I'm still using two normals for my cool team, it could be a wiser choice. Also, speaking of those skill upgrades - if I'm correct you don't need the exact same card, just the skill, right?

 

I hope getting at least to 13k won't be a huge problem, though it seems the ammount of players had increased drastically (already 8m compared to 2m from a while ago). The only question is how many of them are active players like us, since only those can be considered our competitors; they might raise the score caps required to level up. On the other hand, new event gives increased means to level up faster, which allows more play sessions. As always, loveca stones might come in handy in the worst case.

8m? I though we only have 200000 players right now (if we reached 500000 the game would have made a notice like they did for Japan server)....

I suggest you just level up the new rare, because their stats are higher compared to normals.

Edit: also the game has entered maintenance now. Gotta wait for 1 more hour I think...

Hmmm... Event started already. Haven't seen anyone using gems yet. Love novels on hard is surprisingly easy, yet I still failed to get s combo because I forgot to keep track of the notes... It's also very easy to get an s rank for score, even with an rare honoka for leader...

I decided to check normal mode first and accidentally went in with my pure team instead of smile... and then failed to FC around the end. Much fail, lol.

I used a love gem already, lol. And then I noticed Xisashi's post saying there's very few love gems in the rewards, making me annoyed that they really don't want me to do that 10+1 after the event. I really want that panda Nico!

Any tricks to maximize getting event points? If I'm correct, you get the ammount of event points equivalent to the ammount of LP used for the song, right?

I will have to check out the hard version on the net and go for the event hard songs only as well, but my team is rather crappy. Since the end results depend highly on your team, it's obvious only the top players with best teams will score the highest of all, leaving the rest far behind.
