Of course, I plan on donating for chiru chiru michiru alone as well ... well, I planned to, until this BS happened. This is making me think twice, not because I don't want to support SP, but because I don't want to support KS.

Well, kickstarter is just shooting itself in the foot more than anything right now. If there's a big enough demand for it, it will happen, with or without KS getting their 10% cut.

Like I said, this might even get reversed. If I'm Kickstarter, I'd reverse this decision simply because of the track record. As Koestl pointed out, KS allows other projects that have porn in them and are straight up pornographic. They need to be consistent.

Another thing to keep in mind, dovac tweeted out that he was playing the waiting game. I assume he's either appealed the decision, or contacted Frontwing about it

Sarcasm is what I believe one of the most straight-forward ways to make a point. I simply cannot understand why people take issue with it.

 

Personally I'm just delighted people can continue to find issues with everything. If you don't mind the lack of H content, then you mind the kickstarter itself. 

Just continue waiting for that one holy project that will eventually arrive and fulfill your wildest dreams and expectations.

And it was just tweeted that Sekai is still waiting to hear back from Kickstarter. So they did appeal it to KS.

I hate to be "Deputy Downer" again, but definitely stagnating. And interestingly enough, stagnating quicker than Clannad. 

 

 

 

I should mention that I really don't care how much it ends up with, as long as it's funded. But the statistics may be interesting to people.

Kickstarter's rule enforcement is extremely arbitrary. They have a really strict rule against "fund my life" projects and regularly take down nonsense that's just like "pay for my food" yet this was allowed to go on to completion, simply because it became popular and basically became a meme, even though it was flagrantly against the rules: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/324283889/potato-salad

Make sure you're reading the charts correctly. A large amount of clannad's second day there was actually within the first 24 hours. Kicktraq's tracking of the opening days can be misleading depending on when the project starts.

Michiru still has a chance as its only 10k away if they remove the top tiers how ever the ports might not be so fortunate. Thats provided people dont start pulling funding if this decision stands

Wow this really sucks for sekai project and frontwing...also this might prevent them from releasing the 18+ content altogether now out of fear of overreaction which we just saw. Was it a group of butthurt fans, soccer moms, equality now, mobsters at kickstarter that didn't get a good enough cut, a hatred of anime, etc... someone just fucked this over. I really hope my fears of this event preventing 18+ do not come to pass but it wouldn't surprise me with the views they have on western society. Hell this M version will probably get censored now as a result as well.  

 

let's hope this is nothing more than pessimism and the rest of everything will go through fine. Hell maybe they'll announce the 18+ version early now...I can hope.

I doubt it was trolls or feminists but more like i said people who wanted the KS to be 18+ and it was all ages but backer gifts were some18+ material so they got butthurt and reported it. Also please dont bring  issues like feminism on to the forum its touchy subject
