Grisaia has no more stretch goals cause they're still awaiting judgment on their appeal

Kickstarter just forcibly removed 60,000 dollars and all tiers higher than $245 from the Kickstarter. It's currently at 208,000 though so still funded to michiru's spin-off adventure.

From what the twitter comments of a few people are saying they didn't even look at it or get back to anyone. They just forcibly without comment got rid of it. Kickstarter is definitely not the platform for funding/backing visual novels. I hope they put the stuff that was removed as potential bonus items that people can buy via the website (maybe have a limited amount or something or keep it stocked) they could probably make quite a bit of money doing that.

Actually paypal and patreon is having a major issue right now with adult content as well and is definitely not the venue to go for that either. Nice to know they got back...unfortunate that they are still all a bunch of hypocrites.

Kickstarter's a multi-million dollar business, hypocrisy is almost a pre-requisite for these entities. At the end of the day Sekai needs Kickstarter more than Kickstarter needs Sekai, Kickstarter's visibility and outreach is a massive boon for Sekai right now. So Sekai will just have to take the hit and continue.

If that was meant in reply about PayPal and adult content, that's not true. One of the (western) games I fund on Patreon does so because of complications with PayPal regarding adult content.

amazing how fast they got the amount back and is still getting more despite no new strecth goals in sight.I think people are still funding for believing all this extra money will go for the +18 even though Sekai can't openly talk about it.

The 18+ version is gonna happen koestl has said it was already on paper they just needed to iron out some more details about it

They'll have more information about how to get it and how much it will cost before the Kickstarter that @sekaiproject is running ends.

Glad that finally got sorted out.

 

Now to wait and see if there is any way to tie the Denpasoft version to the kickstarter in the form of discounts or a free download code.  I might throw my money at it yet.

Quick update physical editions of the Grisaia trilogy via kickstarter will be DRM free.

Great news indeed! I really wanted one or two of the dakis since the originals are so god-awfully rare, and the 18+ version is mandatory in my eyes. When we lost both of those I decided not to back the kickstarter (much to my lament). But this? This is a perfect storm. Once the details are finalized I'll return to backing the project for as much as I'm able Nanoyasa!

I'm actually still holding out to see if the whole Sony thing goes through with the PS Vita ports. I'd prefer to play them on the go, but will settle for the collector's display box for the trilogy if that doesn't work out.
