Is it possible to do this?

I really want to play Oreimo PSP but there is only a partial patch for it in English. Is it possible to look up each and every sentence in Japanese -> English? I am thinking it would help me learn a little Japanese while I am at it but at the same time seems completely unrealistic. Has anyone done something like this or know a way to make it work?

Tip: use an explicit title for your topics. It will get you more answers.

 

As for your question, how much do you know about japanese?

If you can handle the grammar it's doable. Looking up kanjis all the time is a pain but an almost necessary when you want to start reading non-hookable japanese texts.

I know basic Japanese grammar, nothing to fancy yet.

It's possible, but you're going to have a hard time doing it if you only know the basic. It's unfortunate that Ziddy won't release another patch until it's completed, so I think you should just be patient waiting for the next patch. This is just my opinion though.

Yeah, that would probably be for the best. If it is possible though I might just give it a shot once I learn some more grammar.
