Questioning the quality of HCGs?

So I wanted to share my experience with some eroges. Some eroges out there got lot of beautiful CGs and stand up art but when it comes to the HCGs the quality go down. I was wondering why would the quality go down. Aren't eroge's main purpose is for "side dishes" so the QC for this must be polished.

 

Some eroges with this symptoms.[Most of the normal CGs and stand up art are Good but most HCGs are upsetting) 

 

-PrimalxHearts(Marlmade) [REALLY UPSETTING HCGs]

-Hoshi Ori Yume MIrai(tone work's) [Good story compensated for the HCGs]

-Chiisana Kanojo no Serenade (feng) [some of te HCGs are horrible]

-Shukufuku no Kane no Ne wa (Studio Ryokucha) [About half]

-Tsuki Yorisou Otome no Sahou (Navel) [Only limited to Aoi Nishimata's drawn HCGs]

-Otome Riron to Sono Shuuhen -Ecole de Paris- (Navel) [Only limited to Aoi Nishimata's drawn HCGs]

 

But years before I was tolerant to the quality of the HCGs and just read it seriously. But after years of reading I am much more selective to skipping or reading a Hscene.

 

In the opposite I salute to Komori Kei for all the eroge he was character designer except for princess lover. When he draw HCGs they do really are good. But usually eroges with good CG do usually have good HCGs in exception to some eroges.

 

Well eroge these days were more of character development then leading to the Hscenes than long time ago. And mostly I judge when I will read an eroge by the art. Which I can see from the OP movie/Promotion Movie or the website it self, which of course they'll choose the good art for the promotion the there product. And I am not new to this trend with the abnormal shaped and sizes of "body parts" on many of the eroges. 

 

Also I was upset of both the latest works of Navel(Tsuki Yorisou & Otome RIron). Those 2 eroges are really Kamiges(God Games) and they would have been Zeusges(GOD OF THE GOD GAMES?) if the the HCGs were polished better. I know some people of there do read eroge just for the story but would it not turn you down if the HCGs were not as good as the rest?

 

So any of you can mention any eroges with these bad HCG symptoms? What are your thoughts on this matter?

I'm more focused on sound when it comes to arousal, so this kind of thing doesn't really faze me. Considering I read ONE, and quite a few VNs out there with plain bad, "unique", or dated art, I think I'm much less affected than some (I draw the line at original Higurashi sprite quality). Speaking of ONE they only had like two voiced lines per h-scene, that did suck

 

Anyway, I haven't noticed this kind of thing. Then again, I don't really spot bad anatomy of anything unless I try, which is presumably why I generally see nothing wrong with Rewrite art (Kanon has some real headscratchers, and Haruka's route in LB did have degrading quality - in the story parts).

It happens sometimes. At first glance some of them look fine, but when you look a bit closer, you realize that an arm might be "off". Or maybe some other time, the background will be just wrong.

 

No particular examples come to mind at this point though...

Well the poses during sex tends to be a little less practical hence its more difficult to portray also most non H CGs tends to be more prevalent and you can probably imagine in your head those situations more easily.

That's not entirely true though.

It's completely practical, unless you're doing monkey style or butterfly style.

I mean more like in portrayal its harder because of the angles, at least thats what i think seeing as many games do nonHcgs right but do badly in H.

It depends on your skills in perspective.

I'm guessing that if it's enough to turn on a person, then it's alright.

I think they only consider how the girl looks, since that's where we focus.

Damn me if anyone looks at the MC more than the girl he fucks.

 

Also, about flying penises...

I've seen an eroge with actual flying penises.
