Onitempest Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I recently downloaded fuwanovel's prepatched Ayakashibito and when I try to run it i get the following: http://imgur.com/FLQAhAU http://imgur.com/CjUMgxQ I've looked online for help but no one else has gotten this error code as far as I've seen. I've downloaded in Japanese locale, used the fixed 'Aya.bat' file, run everything in Admin mode, nothing changes. Please help! This looks like a promising Vn! Quote
Zakamutt Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Well, let's get the obvious stuff out there first. It is possible that you changed a setting deceptively like system locale, that does not actually do the same thing (check https://fuwanovel.net/faq/setting-windows-to-japanese-locale). Note that if this is the case, you will have to run the bat file again as it only works while in japanese locale. The second.. well I don't know, it plainly says registry read error. If you feel up to it, use regedit to check out if HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\propeller is a thing, and what's in it (there should be a key called あやかしびと).. The value of InstPath on the key あやかしびと is the main interesting thing. Onitempest 1 Quote

However, for some reason the software folder was located in my documents, while the exe searched for them in the system folder. After moving the folder the the proper position and running aya.bin again, it works. Thank you!! Quote
