Getting the Vns (answered)

I am brand new to VNs aside from katawa shoujo and am wondering how you guys get your vns?

I have been wanting to get into VNs but dont really know a safe way to go about getting the. I see fuwanovel has a download button on the VNs. Is that for the actual game and translations or just the game/ just the translations.

I would really appreciate any help as I want to get a start on the VN journey.  <3

All the downloads on Fuwanovel have the game and the english patch. Sometimes it's pre-patched, which means all you have to is launch the game and play (sometimes you need to run a .bat file beforehand), other times you have to install the game then apply the patch.

 

Last but not least, some VNs are officially licensed. If you have Steam there is a visual novel tag you can check out, otherwise the two companies localizing VNs are Mangagamer and JAST USA. Google them to find their websites.

Nyaa, and anime-sharing is a good place to check for new VNs.

If you are brand new to the medium, downloading from the Fuwanovel main site will be the easiest way to go. We have pretty much all the bigger titles. Unless you're interested in some obscure underground VN you won't need to hunt around on other sites.
