sirjabberwock Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Well, only 5 weeks till it ends, so let's just what it does before dying. Too many plot holes to fix in that amount of time xP, by the way is that confirmed? Quote
Freestyle80 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I'm happy with Trinity Seven,it'll be fun to see some of these fight scenes animated Quote
Kenshin_sama Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Fantastic opening episode for Trinity Seven. I've heard a lot of good things about the manga and my anticipation for the anime was up there. I'm glad it hasn't let me down so far, it's as interesting as I hoped it would be, if not a little more. The direction is the best I've seen this season. Sasuga, Nishikiori Hiroshi. ZAQ OP was pretty nice too. Quote
Down Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Akatsuki no Yona: Another fantasy show. Much different from Garo or SnB in its design, the fact that it's adapted from a shoujo manga really shows. I really like these designs. Also not bad animation on some scenes. As for the story... Looks like it could be interesting? The end was to be expected, despite the humorous tone, and combined with the introduction we probably have some nice adventure in perspective. Â Amagi Brilliant Park: As usual, instead of blowing off on particular scenes and be regular on the rest (or being regular/mediocre all the time...), KyoAni manages to maintain a level several notch above the rest of the production on all the technical aspects for whole episodes. Since they have their best director on this, it's worth watching just for the display of talent on that aspect I suppose. It has potential to be interesting, but as often with KyoAni it's really hard to know right off the bad and the show could have something really interesting to tell as it could be driven solely by its atmosphere or its characters. No choice but to stay and watch. Expectations here. I want KyoAni back to their 2011-2012 level. Â Also FMP fans were trolled to death by this episode. Fumoffu everywhere, season 3/4 never. Or maybe?... Quote
Nagisa_Fawkes Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Wow, I had never tried any type of medieval anime before, but I really took a liking to Akatsuki no Yona. Such beatiful art, and that unexpected plot twist right off the bat in the first episode.. I'm definitely going to keep this one. Quote
Nagisa_Fawkes Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Oh, and Hi Scool!! Seha Girl. Awww that animation is so freaking adorable =3 It's random and all over the place, but a fun way to check out how video games were before I was born. Quote
Desert35 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I wasn't disappointed by the first episode of trinity seven I finded it really good and it retranscript well the manga but the only fact for me is that I will have to get used to levi's voice (I find it kinda not fitting the character in my opinion) Quote
Nagisa_Fawkes Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Well, well, our third VN adaptation of the season wasn't half bad. I don't have much to say about it...other that I'm stunned about a school with 50k students, wow. o_0 Quote
Kendjin Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 2 episodes into Terra Former and I realise the censorship is probably gonna ruin this quite a bit. Quote

Kendjin Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 oh god. I was gonna pick up the Trinity Seven Manga, but you tell me things get bad. I don't know if my body is ready? Â Or do you mean its just not very good? Quote
Jun Inoue Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 oh god. I was gonna pick up the Trinity Seven Manga, but you tell me things get bad. I don't know if my body is ready?  Or do you mean its just not very good? Well, it's mostly... Trinity Seven starts by telling you "hey look, a typical harem, but the MC is cool and fun to watch! This is an entertaining and not-so-cliché fantasy harem! But then I read the manga, and it looks like the characters are all falling into the clichés of the genre. The MC gets more and more op for no reason, making the rest of the characters seem insanely useless. The girls follow his lead and adore him for no reason. The headmaster is the typical "I'm super strong but won't show it unless super dire-times come," and so on. I guess you can call it the disappointment of thinking Trinity Seven was gonna be different from the norm, then realizing it's not at all. Now that I know more or less the characters and plot, it has moved from "gotta keep an eye on it" to "anime I'll watch if I'm bored." Quote
Kendjin Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Ah ok, so its basically just a cookie cutter manga. After a few I've read recently, they have been rather depressing. Quote
Nagisa_Fawkes Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Just watched Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu... One word if I may..DISTURBING. But it was sooo good, anyway, maybe I'm a masochist? There's no censor to complain about, now. Quote
Jun Inoue Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Ah ok, so its basically just a cookie cutter manga. After a few I've read recently, they have been rather depressing. It's the world upside down. I expected nothing of Donten ni Warau and Akatsuki no Yona cuz, basically, they are historical drama shoujos, but they actually went and surprised me by being interesting. And my obvious choices are betraying me~ Quote
suikashoujo Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I watched my last two premieres of the season today, Kiseijuu and Daitoshokan. Everything on my list has officially started now. Kiseijuu looks like it will be interesting, but Daitoshokan... well, I'll give it another episode, but it was really generic. Quote

Jibril Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Chaika second season~ Pretty decent 1st (or is it 13th?) ep. We got some back story and a few nice action here and there. Daitoshokan looks so.... generic... other than that 50K students in a school... Kiseijuu looks.... interesting.... feels like something from Dead Space combined with Alien and put it into an anime featuring a high school MC. Definitely going to keep an eye on this. Quote
Jun Inoue Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 uhh i dont know what he's talking about, this is not really a dark manga not even gore no one dies even Read my answer to his post and you'll understand what I mean. Quote
Kurisu-Chan Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 What should you advice me to follow this season?(no Unlimited blade works for me until i've read F/SN) Quote

Kurisu-Chan Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Well, how critic/demanding are you with anime? And what genre do you prefer? Quote
Down Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 What should you advice me to follow this season?(no Unlimited blade works for me until i've read F/SN) Quote
Kurisu-Chan Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 If you like fantasy, then Garo, Shingeki no Bahamut and Akatsuki no Yona are all good. Otherwise... I realize I don't even know what else is good this season, aside from sequels =o Watch Log Horizon then hop into season 2. Watch Grisaia if you liked the VN I guess. Otherwise play the VN. Amagi Brilliant Park might be good but nothing is certain... Quote
Jun Inoue Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Plot-oriented animes (No, not that kind of plot) so things with story and not only Moe elements. If possible, no mech. Â Yep, i'm not extremely demanding nor critic, i just like stories. Quote
