OriginalRen Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Hello everyone, I leave for Japan on the 3rd of November, and with my brand new camcorder, I plan to make a video blog when I am in the country. This thread is to let me know what sort of content you want to see. I have a few ideas in mind, but I am always looking for suggestions. The ideas you guys come up with can be serious topics involving the culture of Japan, or can be something as mundane as a walk around Akihabara looking for figurines. Let me know! arakura and Emi 2 Quote
Monmon Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Video urself going to all kinds of maid cafes...especially Tsundere cafe. and dont forget to ask the Moe moe kyun and ketchup writing services. And no...i`m not jokin. Quote
babiker Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Can you film yourself teaching? I wonder how real Japanese classrooms look like, after watching all those animes and VNs... Mr Poltroon 1 Quote

And no...i`m not jokin. I can go to 1 of them, but to be honest, they are ridiculously expensive. The omelette I got was very cute with a cat drawing in ketchup last time I went, however it cost me like 1,300 yen. Not a fan of that price, but the sundae afterwords was adorable and absolutely the best dessert I have ever eaten. Can you film yourself teaching? I wonder how real Japanese classrooms look like, after watching all those anime and VNs... I won't have a job right off the bat when going there, but it's definitely something I will keep in mind! arakura Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Please walk around looking for figurines or whatever! That would be so cool! Also do ones that show what your normal life is, and around where you live etc etc. This is super exiting Quote
Kosakyun Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I-I would love to see a haniwa. Or Alicesoft's building. Pls. Hope I see a proof of a mixed bath too! Quote
5T4R Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I wanna go Japan so badly! Do record yourself walking around Akihabara and also the figurines. It would be awesome to know how busy is Akihabara, Don't forget to go Maid Cafe too! Just record everything that is interesting! Haha I really admire the Japanese culture. If this doesn't take up much of your time, try visiting the country side, I always wanted to know how calm it is, especially the sunset! Forgive me if I'm being a little bit pushy. Pls. Hope I see a proof of a mixed bath too! I don't know if you are able to film there, but it would be awesome if you could Quote
Kosakyun Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I don't know if you are able to film there, but it would be awesome if you could Just the sign man. Just the sign. Quote
nohman Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I'd be interested in seeing the food culture there. Say... a tour of every Domino's pizza in Japan? For real though, that first suggestion is actually serious. Stray Cat 1 Quote
Heizei_koukousei Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 You could throw in some historical information about the culture as well. Go to some museums and sneak the camcorder if you have to Having a series of videos allows you the freedom to cover many different topics. The food culture, seeing the countryside, going a maid cafe, and simply walking around the city are all perfect themes for each video Quote
Barralrider Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Just video all the random things that happen and the food toy eat Also if you can get a real "Irasshaimase" moment on camera that'd be AWESOME! Quote
madvanced Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Vlogs sound great, especially with Run's orgasmic voice. I don't know if you're into that thing Run, but shrine's are something that I'm particularly interested in, so it would be nice content. Well that and some footage to prove the existence of the Legendary Miko's would be nice too. I would also like to see Run buy a porno mag on a konbini just for sh*t and giggles(and the reaction of the cashier ). In all seriousness, as I said before shrines might also be a interesting spot. Down Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 In all seriousness, as I said before shrines might also be a interesting spot. It would actually be a performance to NOT show a shrine during a vlog since they're literally everywhere and you often stumble upon one while randomly walking in the streets. Less so in Tokyo than in Kyoto but it still happens. Quote
