arakura Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 How are you going to learn the language? How will you make friends so that they can hold your cameras!? I wonder if that Disney Tarzan song would work here... Quote

Fiddle Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 It's very interesting to see an objective perspective of Akihabara. Thanks for uploading these. Quote

zoom909 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I got a lot of entertainment out of that video. Of course, seeing live footage of the Most Important City in the Most Important Country of the World is always fun, but the video itself was also fun. For example, I like the stairs climbing scenes for some reason. And at one point there was some gray thing in front of the screen and I wondered what it was, but apparently Ren knew it was there because he said there's a cord in the way. And the part about going to McDonald's "It's going to be a delicious burger" that's something you seldom hear in the U.S. about McDonalds "History of Love Live" book looked interesting to me, too. I'm going to google it now... Come to think of it, it seems that "Love Live" was basically the theme of this whole video... Quote
OriginalRen Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Hey everyone, Thanks for watching my videos! For tonight, feel free to check out a plethora of photos I took in Akihabara and the surrounding areas. I tried to include something for everyone, though getting boy's love material for the ladies was a little more of a challenge due to how the floor was laid out in one of the shops. Still, I hope you can find something in these pictures that you like, and if you are interested in purchasing anything for yourself, please let me know. Thanks again, and enjoy! Visual Novel Central: Hobby Shops Galore: Additional images continue in the next post! 傍観者, Emi, Ezeefreak and 2 others 5 Quote
OriginalRen Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Apologies for the lack of spoiler tags, but it seems they are currently broken. These photos are a continuation of the hobby pictures from the previous post. Enjoy! Ezeefreak, SilverLi, CLuBLioN and 1 other 4 Quote

suikashoujo Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 That G-Senjou with the Sharin artbook looks incredible. All these videos and photos are only making me want to travel over to Japan more. Life goals... Hope you're enjoying yourself, though. Japan really does seem like a fun place. Quote
Down Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 That G-Senjou with the Sharin artbook looks incredible. All these videos and photos are only making me want to travel over to Japan more. Life goals... Well you see, I happen to own that thing, and I realized that the issue with VN gengashuu is that a lot of the rough sketches are for CGs... And a lot of CGs in VNs are spent on H-scenes... So yeah, gotta enjoy a half-porn book. Kinda to be expected for an eroge artbook but I'm no so interested in the making of H CGs, to be honest. The G-senjou box that goes with it is cool though Quote

Eclipsed Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Aww I didn't know you were that nervous about your life in Japan Ren ! But we here on Fuwanovel will totally be supporting you all the way~ That view you got of the river when you were on the bridge was gorgeous indeed ... A collaboration between Down & Run? Yes please! When you get your bike, make a video of you riding it while filming some good scenery if you can Got a good laugh out of you climbing those stairs. You were so out of breath!!! #REKT You need to exercise more! And yeah, the right side being the 'primary fast lane' in Japan compared to the left in US is something that always fascinated me. It's just one of those cultural differences I guess (also, aren't their driver seats on the right side for cars as well? xD) ... Whaa?! Your tour of Skytree is incomplete if you don't actually climb Skytree itself!!! I wanted glorious skyscraper views of Japan! Jk jk ~~~ Poor hoboes. Quote
