GLM4475 Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Well, honestly the numbers part is just a whim, maybe mine or God's. About the letters, they're clearly my initials. Quote
Exenorate Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Mine is simply the word "Exonerate" misspelled because I thought it looked/sounded cool. I still think it does several years later. ;p Quote
Nimbus Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Mine has a couple of meanings. Firstly Dragon Ball is my favourite anime and the Flying Nimbus was one of my favourite parts of it. Secondly I wanted a name that reflected my interests. I happen to fly gliders and there is a glider model called the "Schempp-Hirth Nimbus-4" so I went with Nimbus. Quote
Yuuko Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I like Mugi The end Stop lying! I don't even remember where did my name exactly came from. I used it in osu and I think it had something to do with Kirino Quote
Turnip Sensei Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I used lanttu (finish for turnip, roughly) long time ago as joke for something. Later I changed it to more international form and added random suffix, because it wasn't available otherwise. Quote
ittaku Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Ittaku 一択 According to edict: 一択 (いったく) (n) (sl) (only) one option (game slang); one possible choice; Because I set out to do what no one else would do. Originally it was for a fansub group but that never eventuated though I've kept the domain name and associated server to host files for random stuff and the ToHeart2 translation. Quote
Navizel Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I took one syllable each from three of my friends. It sounded cool so it got kind of stuck to me. Quote
Segai Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I just took Segai from Guilty Crown for lack of better inspiration. Didn't want to use my "standard" nickname. Quote
crunchytaco Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Crunchy, as in the meaning of taking a bite out of something delicious and hearing it pop. Tacos - represents the pain and slavery of the people who once lived here. The land of freedom and diversity, showcasing elite class privilege that once stole the lands of the natives here, also stealing their food and churned out their own versions using fast food chains like Taco Bell which produces crap versions of the original soft tacos. Can you guess what my name means essentially? Quote
Terancam Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Can you guess what my name means essentially? You don't like Taco Bell's tacos ? Terancam comes from my RP's main character in Shadowrun, 'Juara Terancam' which means - if i remember well - Threatened Champion. Well, to me it sounds great, so i kept it as a user name for forums or online games. crunchytaco 1 Quote
starlessn1ght Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 starlessn1ght is because I'm a SAO fan (also Kiriasu hardcore shipper) and the chapter in Progressive that Kirito first meets Asuna is called "Aria in the Starless Night". I thought it was pretty cool, and then I put the last part in my username, then I thought, it's just too meh like this, let's put 1 instead of i. Then, my username was born. Quote
12kami Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 just like this name cause it easy to remember for the meaning, may be 12 gods ? 12 hair ? 12 paper ? feel free to choose :x Quote
nohman Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I stole this shit from Zone of the Enders. End story. Quote
#YOLOGNAISWAGETTI Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yolo+bolognese(bolognai in hungarian)+SWAG+Spaghetti. Quote
AaronIsCrunchy Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 A name I think I established initially for Kongregate when I was 12-13 (something like that). After a while I used it on enough things that I really can't be arsed to change it. There's a variant (Kuranchiwan) on a forum somewhere which I actually prefer but now I'm stuck in habit ;_; Quote
Abyssal Monkey Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 It's really quite simple. You see, in the twisting unknown, a blip occurred. From that slight spark an eternal hellfire came ablaze, releasing power. As the eons passed, the eddies of forces slowly condensed, and crashed into each other. From these innumerable explosions, an order formed. In this order, chaos reigned. From this chaos, more chaos spiraled uncontrollably, until an intelligent being came into existence. That being is me. Quote
Yuri Hunter Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 The meaning of my username is very simple. I just want to go out hunting Yuri things .-. I was going to use Loli Hunter but I was afraid of people think I'm some pervert, Quote
Helvetica Standard Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 What does your username means? World conquest. Quote
Guest bitch Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Doggy. Doggy. Dogs and bitches are cutest thing on the world. Quote
atorq Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 World conquest. I've always associated it with the font. My name comes from taking some letters from my real name and smashing them together in a particle accelerator. Quote
Hakamichi_Sajaki Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Don't know if I've posted in this thread, so meh: Sajaki is an Alias I have used for years online. It comes from the Character Triumvir Yuuji Sajaki from Alastair Reynolds "Revelation Space" Novel. If anyone of you have read that book, then you will know that he is a stoic, quiet, yet immensely intelligent character. Hakamichi, well that's from KS... Quote
joehawks12 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 it's my tripfag name. I go to one board, and one board only. Quote
Stray Cat Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Just realized I never explained. It's a reference to my favorite manga Black Cat by Kentaro Yabuki. Major Plot Spoilers: "Train Heartnet (トレイン ハートネット Torein Hātonetto?), also known as Black Cat (黒猫 Kuro Neko?), is the protagonist and a Sweeper partnered with Sven. Train is a lighthearted, courageous man who is highly skilled with a gun. The 23 years old's distinguishing features are a choker with a tiny bell attached to it and the XIII tattoo he has on the left side of his chest.[1]:26 Two years earlier Train was a Chronos Number, a ruthless assassin and Number XIII of the group. He has a large amount of killing intent that he honed from his days as a Chronos member, and as a result he often has sudden mood swings, going from carefree to serious in an instant, especially when Creed is mentioned. This personality stems from being orphaned at 10 years old after the assassin Zagine Axeloake kills his parents, takes Train in and teaches him how to kill with efficiency.[ch. 68] Zagine eventually dies and tells Train that he needs to be the strongest in order to survive. After that, Karl took Train in and he became an assassin for Chronos. Having been killing and exposed to death since early childhood, Train becomes very bleak and unsmiling until he leaves Chronos. He eventually meets Saya, a carefree sweeper, who slowly changes Train into a "stray cat" that does not blindly follow orders. He decides not to kill anymore, and after Creed kills Saya, he leaves to become a Sweeper and searches after him." Quote
