I understand that she was dumb for not reading the sign, but couldn't you have given her what she wanted anyway? I mean a customer is a customer.

She is still there, nearing an hour after normal closing time, if only because I dragged my mom over there and said "if you care that much, you deal with her."

Waiting for customers is fine and all, but if you don't stick to your established rules, the customers will walk all over you.  We close when we close because all the machinery is on a timer.  The boilers shut down at around 8:30.

If you had a shopping mall, and it closed at 9pm, would you let customers continue to shop and not get in line at 10pm? Fuck no.   If customers can't follow the rules of the establishment, then we have every right to refuse service.  It was already grace on my part to let her stay for 30 minutes.

Customer service work is cancer-inducing. I remember getting a call from a pissy woman who complained about the box her warranty replacement came in. She didn't take her coffee brewer out at all, so she wasn't complaining about any damages to it, she just didn't like the box it came in. And no matter what I told her or how professional I tried to be, she just kept yelling and yelling like a moron.

I overslept a little and ditched some of my studies so now I am stuck with doing 14 hours worth of work in 7 hours, luckily enough it's English so maybe if I study literature and revise the hard vocab if it exists and grammar quickly, I can get a good grade probably.. I can do it hopefully

9/10. It was very enjoyable, I like the friendship kinda thing, and the comedy was great too. I only had one problem with it.

The serious choices could've been better. It was so easy to avoid the bad ends in all of the routes. The comedic choices were great, but most of the serious ones were not. I would've liked it if some were similar to Momoyo's route choices where you had to think about them.

Protag turned into a total doormat during momoyo's route and chris' route was one of the biggest disasters I've ever read. Now that I think about it, chika's route was somehow even worse.

The only reason I didn't rate it lower is because I felt that was just due to my preferences, and it didn't get in the way of me enjoying the route.

I found it to be the best route. All the routes felt sloppy, hence why I gave it a 6/10, but Chris's felt the least so. 

What Tyr calls comedy rape, I call yobai, and it fit perfectly in for Chris's japanophiia

Confession: I laugh whenever someone tries to justify something by using a statement with no explanation.  My favorite one recently is "it's cliched"/"it uses tropes"/"it's unoriginal". I think to myself "great, you've introduced a subject, now where is the evidence, and where is the explanation".

I always wondered in sophomore english why our teacher bitched at us about proper use of quotations from a source as evidence. I mean we were always told to introduce the piece of evidence, actually include it, interpret/explain it, then integrate it into our argument as to why it is relevant. Now I understand why. It gets really old really quickly when people don't properly explain things and say something as a simple pretense.

Sooooo many reviews on everything never get past the introduction step of "something is bad" and it's the main reason why when looking at any piece of media anymore I look solely at the genre tags it falls under.

People are busy sometimes - right now I'm still trying to grasp the fundamental's of what everybody is best at.  Some business can occur, and while it's certainly good to learn to get stuff done under suboptimal circumstances there's no need to feel overly pressured when it doesn't go through.

I actually have an account with some credits on it, and it is legal to use the ones downloaded (though it's a good idea to add the source of the picture(s) in your credits). If you had an idea of what you want and the general height x width size you want I'd be glad to download some for the novel.

If I'm remembering correctly, it wasn't for in-game use, rather a reference to understand the tone of the setting and for use in the main writing.  Setting isn't as much of a specialty as character on my end and while I do have a small document of that it's not really anything strong enough to be sustainable with some of the government-bending in the background, since that now seems to be a heavier factor than was originally intended.

Actually, if it were to snow everything would probably shut down...

Snow here is usually at most one or two inches, and you'd think the very apocalypse had arrived by the way everything shuts down and people make a mad run on the grocery store for stuff like bottled water. It happens once every few years, and I've learned to just stay in. Given I have no experience with it, I don't think I'd be especially great at driving in snow, but there are such a vast number of people out here driving around with no clue what they're doing that it'd be dangerous to drive in even if you were an expert and properly equipped.
