Confession: I just fucked up my course applications for next year.

So basically there's a field in the form that goes like this (TLd from Turkish):

"Write your preferred major for university. English if you're applying internationally."

And instead of writing my preferred major in there in English, I literally wrote the word "English" and fucking sent it in.

This form is for the subjects I'll be taking next year, so it's INCREDIBLY influential in my education, and its deadline is tomorrow. And I fucking sent it in like that.

I'm still crying from laughter.

The trip home from my friend's house is shorter in winter because you can cut across the lake. I think that's really funny

 

Second confession: I look down on people that concern themselves with being smart or not. It hardly matters. I've seen so many "smart" people fail and less smart people succeed. I've seen many people start falling because they think they're smart enough to make it without working hard. My pet peeve I guess. One of them.

Confession: A large portion of why I order physical stuff online is so I can have the joy of anticipation, looking forward to it arriving. Unless I need it right now, give me the longest shipping time possible, please, so I can spend all that time thinking about how awesome it's going to be when it arrives... whatever it is.

Glad to hear you're winding down and relaxing, you've deserved it.

Things are mostly slowing down on my end as well, mostly done with elective picks and exams are over. Next week's the last week of the semester for me, then I have a break of two weeks (one of which I'll spend in a conference in Amsterdam). Hopefully the next semester will be a fresh new beginning.

that's what I bought when I was saving up money from my college part-time job. I got a nice yamaha p-105. I loved it. Good beginner keyboard imo

Confession: We just had a power outage, and as I was typing this message we had a second one. Dunno if it's something serious, but we haven't had an outage in the 6 years we've been living here, and I haven't been in a blackout since around 2008. The lights are still flickering so it looks like it might not be completely fixed yet.

Confession: As of right now, I'm completely believe that my neighborhood is just a bunch of fucked up people pooled together in one place.

There's the Religious Teacher that cheat on his abusive wife, The Rich snob that while they might seems religious are biased and accusive as fuck to their servants, One family that have the tradition to abuse their parents, and One other family that basically an annoyance to all of the above.

Good god.

That's the weird thing, it's not even raining. Also the power went out a third time shortly after I posted. It's back and the lights aren't flickering so that's probably the end of that.

The answer is probably yes, because I do the same thing and I am in fact a bad person.

Same here. 

If someone touches my dog's paws in any way, shape or form, she'll start flashing her teeth and if teased long enough, likewise playbite the intruding hand. And I don't mean the "Oh, no! That creature is about to bite your face off!"-way of flashing teeth, it's more like a subtly annoyed facial expression. Like she's really not a fan, but can't do anything other than accept her fate.

What a touchy subject. Our doggies probably think of us as pawful people.
