atorq Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 American Pie said something about subtracting three when a guy confesses his numbers, and add three when a women confesses hers. Depending on how in love and invested with you she is, you might have to add more.  Does it really matter though?   Confession: I've been kind of drunk once in my life, and I swore to myself to never get to that point again (at least try not to~) It seems I'm not very good with alcohol at all.  The idea of losing my self-control scares me a bit.  I have too many crazy thoughts going inside my head, who knows what I'd say and regret later, lol.  I used to be afraid of that too, but I have come to the realization that alcohol is mostly just something you blame. The self-control never goes away. Quote

Flutterz Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Â Confession: I've been kind of drunk once in my life, and I swore to myself to never get to that point again (at least try not to~)Â Â It seems I'm not very good with alcohol at all. Â The idea of losing my self-control scares me a bit. Â I have too many crazy thoughts going inside my head, who knows what I'd say and regret later, lol. Pretty much this, although I haven't been more than a bit tipsy despite having plenty of opportunities to, I've just seen the shit people do when they're drunk and I want no part of it. Â I also really hate/am scared of not remembering things, but I think I've already talked about that. Quote
LinovaA Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I've never been drunk, but I feel like instead of losing control, it's 'trying to drive with one broken arm and a blindfold.' The self-control still exists but it's much more difficult to manage reasonably. You haven't lost it, at least in theory.  Depends on the person, as there are MANY different kinds of drunks out there.  When I drink I have to REALLY watch what I drink and how much of it... because I am prone to blacking out... and that is a place where you have zero self control. q-q Quote

LinovaA Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Â I also really hate/am scared of not remembering things, but I think I've already talked about that. Â This is why I watch what I drink. The last time I blacked out... I vowed never to get that drunk again. Worst feeling is waking up with a giant cut on your head, and your friends showing you videos of you dragging your face on the ground, and regale you with stories of how you kept trying to make out with one of your friends. Â Yeah... never again. rainsismyfav 1 Quote
Flutterz Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Well, that happens. And, you know, sometimes it's just great. This vibe, you know, that nothing is holding you back? And even though - for example, in your case - you're neutral towards a coworker, you're not exactly morally opposed to their presence either, so who cares? But it's not as if your morals suddenly are flipped because of the alcohol. Â EDIT: Not saying you should have gone further, it's just that it feels nice to say what's on your mind and truly not care sometimes. Dunno, if there's something that I don't want to do, I definitely don't want to do it when I'm not thinking straight and will possibly forget doing it in the first place. Quote
TexasDice Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 How old were you, like 13? TexasDice joined Fuwanovel with 19, which is public knowledge. But talking about my age makes me depressive, which is why I keep my real age and birthday secret.  The Childhood friend is three years younger than me, so try to guess. Quote

Tyrael Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015  You guys are adorable   Confession: I actually really enjoy a good booze up now and then (maybe 2/3 times a year). Though I'm never doing 7 Yagerbombs in 30 minutes again, I'm surprised I managed to get home in one piece.  I am learning so many new and interesting things about you in this thread Zodai 1 Quote
