I'll skip this release, read the demo and wasn't really impressed.

 

$13 is a pretty decent price though. I wish Sekai and "Alice in Dissonance" all the best.

Nah I didn’t. The story itself didn’t interest me so I’d just spend the whole time looking for stuff to grumble about.

 

Like boring info-dumps, I’ll put up with them in stories I’m excited about but will complain like a banshee when they’re in a story which doesn’t interest me

My other question is: is the DRM free version on the site the same as the steam released "Directors Cut"?

I'd like to buy this VN, but I actually know nothing about this one. Can anybody tell me about it? Is it a good one or it's better to read it afterwards?

Hmmm, nobody else is answering this question so I'll give it a shot, even though I've only played a little bit of an early demo.

 

The plot is the fairly generic sort of plot you get if you're familiar with shounen, RPGs, or fantasy novels, so it didn't grab me. Someone else who isn't tired of those typical adventure stories may find it pretty interesting though.

 

And because I wasn't interested in the plot, problems with the writing style and translations kept jolting me out of the story. Like how they use massive info-dumps, or how the translator used every synonym for the word "said" he could think of.

 

There should be a demo up somewhere, you should give it a spin and check it out.
