Tatsujin Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Rakuen Tsuihou -Expelled From Paradise-AniDB | Otakixus | OfficialFanservice PictureRelease: 15.11.2014Description: Angela, a girl in her twenties, was raised in a Matrix-like computer system on a space station orbiting a post-apocalyptic Earth. But after a hacker from the devastated planet below breaks into the system, she is tasked with finding and stopping the hacker in the real world. To do this, she is transferred into a clone body, given a mech, and told to meet up with an agent living on Earth named Dingo. Thus begins her fish-out-of-water tale as she not only finds herself in a strange land she knows nothing about but also has to deal with a life trapped in a body that, unlike her digital one, requires food and rest. Together, Dingo and Angela travel across the frontier-like ruined Earth, trying to solve the mystery of the hacker's identity and his true goals.Looking forward to this. Original work done by Toei Animation, Nitroplus. The main animation producers are Graphinica and Toei Animation. Directed by Mizushima Seiji.Raws have been available for more than a week. No English subs, but freaking Spanish subs are available. I just want to see if this movie is good or not with the subs then I can make my decision to purchase it or not. Also, the Limited Edition BDs have been selling out like crazy. It sold out twice. It'll be in stock by the third or fourth week of December. Quote
Down Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 It's worth noting that this movie has been written by Urobuchi (yay) and that it's an entirely 3D CGI movie (bleh). Quote
Erogamer Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 This movie was ok, but not what I was expecting. I thought the ending was anti climatic. It has decent humor, a cute girl wearing a skimpy outfit, a few butt shots, and a scene that shows her boobs. The 3DCG in my opinion was well done, and it has a talented cast. Oh, forgot that it has good action scenes. Quote
Jibril Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Great action, okay story, great 3DCG animation, not so okay character development, amazing soundtrack. Well that's what the critics said, mostly criticizing that this was just Toei using urobuchi's fame as the story isn't that good. I'm looking forward to see it as well, mostly because of Angela though. (her dakimakura pre order was open for 7 days and it got sold out in 3...) Quote
Tatsujin Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 Subs are now available. Link.Works with ReinForce raw release (best encode at the moment). Subs are not top-notch but they're not total shit. Quote
Ram_Ram_A Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Alright thanks for reminding me downloading right now Quote
Tatsujin Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Man this was a really good movie. I'm buying it. There's a lot of room for sequels and prequels. Awesome battles, nice music and great fanservice. Quote
Jibril Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Angela is love, Angela is life. Epic action, eargasmic theme song, overall nice animation and soundtracks. Designs are amazing all around. Just a lacking with the story, kind of similar problems with Valvrave, not as bad though since the pacing is okay on all corners. Characters are fun and development exist, albeit not too much, though not too lacking either. It also feels too lightweight for something written by urobuchi Pretty sure this is his lightest work so far, even more innocent than Suisei no Gargantia~ Quote
Tatsujin Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 December Fandom P2. Ordered it Sunday night. Got it Tuesday in the afternoon. Damn that Rakuen Tsuihou box is heavy as hell. I have no clue what's inside of it. I haven't opened it. I'm shocked that the Gargantia OVA is lighter than the previous boxes that were released. Regardless, I got everything for a damn whopping cheap price. Also that book in the middle contained so many R18+ pictures, lots of sexy poses. I just wanted to get the book for this picture. Damn thing is thick and huge. Lots of pages, lots of art. There are non-18+ images as well. I'm really happy with this. It's a better book than this one. And that is all! Ah I want to put both Sakasama no Patema and Rakuen Tsuihou and Wolf Children next to each other. They're all Japanese versions as well. The Wolf Children I got for damn 24 USD, factory sealed! Next day the price jumped up to 60. >_>;; Quote

CCM Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I watched it yesterday. I love the story, pace, progress and etc. Especially the ending song. Ugh.... the ending song is lovely... The 3D thing do not bother me at all because the animation is good. I won't say the movie is puuuurfect but I can say it is good. Overall... awesome movie. It was worth my time to watch it. Quote
