Here are some really bad anime:

Akikan

Mars of Destruction

Eiken

Melody of Oblivion

Legend of the Blue Wolves

Chaos;Head

Kampfër

Alexander

K-On

Kashimashi

Oreimo S2

Arcana Famiglia

...But those are really the kind of stuff you watch if you're an M or with friends to laugh at it.

There might be a troll in the lot.

Or maybe not.

I'm really enjoying Aria, i think it's such a wonderful ride you can take slowly and never get bored of it. In fact i think it's meant to be taken slowly.

I get home exhausted, tune in on Aria and it's just a moment of bliss.

10/10 would recommend. I tihnk it's impossible to give it any other rating in fact.

Aria is just one of those absolute high-quality wonderful experiences. For me, the message to it was just phenomenal in every essence of its being (also given it's the exact same message that's contained in one of my all-time favorite Visual Novels!). You simply cannot go wrong with watching Aria, so as long as you watch it at a pace that seems as if you're on a relaxing tour yourself. I miss it already, and usually listen to a piece of the soundtrack or re-watch specific episodes once in a blue moon. (*‿*✿)

Shit, someone actually read the list :Kappa:

I picked back up Sakurasou, which I had put on hold since forever for no reason. It was good when I started it and it's still good, so there really wasn't a reason. Meh.

Winter is there, time to take out all the slice of life anime.

Kara no Kyoukai, not bad so far.

Very interesting story and awesome animation

the way it's scenarized is pretty classic and cliche though.

If you miss Aria, and haven't read the manga yet, do so.  It's just as wonderful.  Same mellow atmosphere, and every few pages a breathtaking sketch of the scenery that spans both sides of the page...

Also if you like Aria check out the anime Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou Quiet Country Cafe.  It's not as good but it's got a little of the same kind of style...

Meanwhile, I just finished watching Rail Wars.  This show's got it all, I'm tellin' ya.

anime babes in various stages of undress--check!

moe archetypes & harem tropes--check!

train trivia--check!  (Admittedly, living in the U.S., learning about trains isn't very practical, but so what I read Manga de Wakaru Lisp even though nobody programs in Lisp anymore)

thrilling runaway train ride at night with decent CG to boot--check!

cool ED song--check!

It's a keeper.

I completed Angel Beats!
It was a really good anime as expected from Key. My only complaint was that a lot of potential was wasted because many of the characters departed off-screen and weren't even given a backstory. Otherwise the anime is really good with a great bittersweet ending.

Watched episode 602 of Detective Conan...and wow that was a lousy episode even for an obvious filler  . I knew who the culprit was and the motive the second the character was introduced and I am not in any way bragging, it's that obvious. The episode is also not helped by its rushed ending and they somehow managed to make Yamamura even dumber/annoying than he usually is. Oh yeah, and the new OP sucks...please let the next episode be better :(

Right now, I'm currently watching:

- Sekien no Blacksmith

- Utawarerumono

- Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru

- Infinite Stratos 2

But Shiki is probably my #1 recommendation. It's a classic and a must-see in my book.

Gotten further into the Punk Hazard arc of One Piece (finished episode 586) and am really enjoying it

It's gotten more interesting with Law showing up and my has he powered up since the timeskip.

Also giving the Pokemon anime a  watch from where I remember leaving it off, which was around the Johto League. Am surprised to find Team Rocket alot funnier than I remember...

Oh. This is the

Tennis

episode right?

I have to agree that the culprit was obvious and the means of murder.

I'm watching Black Lagoon

The very same.

Also watched the next episode and starting the next one (it's a 3 parter) which seems alright so far for an anime original.

To mark the start of my summer vacation, I've at last started Gosick.

I've only seen 2 episodes, so not much to say, just this:

That ED... is freaking perfect.. genius..

Oh Brasil~

Somebody is trying to force me to watch Toaru Majutsu no Index, no names, but I'm enjoying the ride thus far, even if I was slightly annoyed at the astoundingly ridiculous speed of the first plot-line.

*meets person*

*1 day passes*

*would sacrifice himself for her*

Touma's that kind of guy.

It doesn't really have anything to do with the speed of the first-plot line.

At least I believe it doesn't.

Anyway, finished Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya, along with the five specials.

Goddamnit that was beautiful.

WARNING: MIGHT BE BASED BECAUSE FATE

Now what to watch next...

It's Touma, just deal with it.

Toaru gets better and better as it goes, although in the anime it's at its highest during the Sisters arc imo because after that it only started the beginning of the God's Right Seat arc with Vento of the Front and then just stops, meaning it just leaves us here hanging and hoping one day JC Staff decides to do something good and bring us S3.

But before that Toaru is really good and I think you should definintely watch Kagaku no Railgun which has proper conclusions to its plotlines.

The Sisters' Arc in Kagaku no Railgun was great.

It was kind of plain in To Aru, since

it's focused on Accelerator. I liked the one in Kagaku since it focused on Misaka as a character and how the cloning experiments affected her, not just simply saving the day since you think that ain't right and stuff.

Overall, I liked Majutsu no Index more since that's where we're acquainted with most of the cast.

When you watch Kagaku no Railgun however...

It kind of shakes up your world.

Oh no I agree I prefer Railgun over Index, but since he's watching Index I figured I'd drop my opinion on it.

Even if the sisters' arc focused on accelerator he's a badass so you can't really hate it.

But in Railgun it was really beautifully done.

I didn't mean that in a bad way. I used 'you' there to refer to us generally. Something that refers to everyone.

I didn't mean you specifically.

Sorry if it caused a little misunderstanding.

I didn't hate the Sisters' Arc in Majutsu no Index. On the contrary, it was one of the most exciting arcs.

I believe it to be inferior to the Sisters' Arc in Kagaku no Railgun S though.
