Nosebleed Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 This is it. After a wonderful experience finishing the Hidamari Sketch series. It is now time to start my longest anime yet, Gintama. Time to break my ribcage laughing. Quote
Stanleys Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Just finished the first episode of Bakemonogatari. This one seems like it may be a little hard to keep up with at first. Quote

solidbatman Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Natsu no Arashi is surprisingly good so far. Great humor, interesting animation (its Shaft), and the story so far is top notch. Quote
Wolfscythe Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Wow, page 33...? Anyway, currently watching Welcome to the NHK!. I'm at episode 10. Quote
Nosebleed Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Started Gintama today. A long journey awaits me.. Quote
Mevvrynne Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Stopped watching Chuu2koi at the moment because....I feel like a part of me is dying with every episode. Â Re-watching Darker than Black with the girlfriend for the weekend. Quote
Nosebleed Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Stopped watching Chuu2koi at the moment because....I feel like a part of me is dying with every episode. It gets good around episode 9/10 the rest is just awkward chuuni stuff with Rikka being Rikka. Second season will probably be 10 times better and more serious though. Quote

Second season will probably be 10 times better and more serious though. For some reason, I doubt that. I'm imagining a lot more silly stuff since the plot is pretty much resolved at the end of season 1. Plus the director said he wanted to go a more light hearted route for season 2. Quote

Plus the director said he wanted to go a more light hearted route for season 2. Since in season 2 they're together I expected at least more romance of some seriousness. Not that i mind light hearted stuff though. I still find all the silly stuff entertaining, i'm too light hearted~ Quote
Down Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 TBH I only liked the first half of Chuunibyou. Then it got serious and everything went down. Thus I hope S2 will be comedy and chuuni cringeworthy shenanigans. Quote
Sioxz Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 just started rosario vampire encoded By Seedzone and well it was one off my first ecchi animes so it's quite fun to rewatch it you get a diffrent perspectiv when you watch the anime Raw and after so long Quote
Amano Sora Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Just finished Kill me Baby. It was hilarious. JC Staff never fails to amaze me. they are amazing *-* that was the best comedy anime i had ever seen lol. honestly... Quote
Gavisi Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Halfway through Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi (Sunday Without God). All I can say is that it's neat in terms of the world and aesthetic, but the story doesn't seem to amount to much. It seems like every three episodes is its own mini-story, and the second one isn't that interesting. I'm sticking with it, but I really do think my final assessment will be "It was neat, but I have nothing more to say". Â Watched the first ep of Kill la Kill and wowow I like this, definitely going to catch up with the series and watch every week. Â We're finally into the Refrain route of Little Busters :3 The first season left me horribly disappointed, but I'm getting more confidence now that Refrain can hit some of the high points of the VN. Quote
Mevvrynne Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Finished darker than black already~ Â Going to start re-watching Beelzebub because why the hell not. Quote

Down Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 In those grey, depressing and damn cold days of upcoming winter, it's really a blessing to have slice of life anime. Nothing beats curling up in your bed with a good heartwarming show.  So, I just started Hidamari Sketch. 5 episodes in and I'm finally hooked. Also watching Sora no Woto and Fancy Lala. Quote

Also watching Sora no Woto and Fancy Lala. I couldn't agree more, Slice of Life never gets tiring and it alwas puts a smile on your face. I finished Hidamari Sketch 2 days ago and it was a gem and i regretted not giving it a chance earlier, it only gets better after the first season, for me the 3rd season (Hoshimitsu) tops all of them  Also watching Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight, lolis and slice of life = win Quote
Down Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013  Also watching Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight, lolis and slice of life = win  That one was a really good surprise when I watched it. Barely ever heard of it before, yet it was really pleasant. You can really feel the drive they have while going toward their goal (massugu go!) Quote
GoldenSorcerer Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I'm currently watching Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, I really love it and it's my favourite anime so far. I'm almost done with it, I'll be sad once it's over... Quote
