Yeah now that I've reached ep 6, the incest has subsided.

Also the pacing seems a bit odd -

At the start it seemed like the blooms vs weeds was the main focus, but that went by pretty fast and now it's concentrating on terrorists. 

they rushed the first story line a bit, and the weed vs bloom was never more than backstory and worldbuilding.

My suggestion is to try the novels, they are translated on baka tsuki and are quite a bit farther than the anime ever whent.

Reached ep 15, the nine schools arc has a better pacing and it's quite interesting too. Yeah the 'bloom vs weed' turned out to be world-building to show the discrimination due to magic and didn't have much significance in the main plot.

I saw the second OP and the mecha I see in it feels really out of place. I feel that they shouldn't have included it. Though hopefully I'm wrong and the mecha thing is handled carefully .

As for the light novels, I'll check them out after I finish the anime.

I now finished marathoning both seasons of Haganai. Kinda weak ending and sometimes Yozora really annoyed me but in the end a quite enjoyable anime.

 

I didn´t know that people can react this strongly to roller coasters, that scream was just filled to the rim with vulgar language (Rika still best girl though ).

Finished Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! first and second season (Ren). I enjoyed it like always. Also the second season which was not that bad as expected. The story and the characters are really cute. Yuuta was the kind of MC I tend to like. But, for me, the highlight was Dekomori -> Best Side character (or best not main character ) so far.

When you yourself have a little sister, it's pretty hard to bear the incest. I nearly always ignore the fact that the couple are siblings and consider them as friends. It becomes hard to do that if it's too balant.

Finished Fate/Zero, time for Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya.

Just finished mahouka, it was pretty good. I would say that the anime steadily improved over the episodes, and turned out much better than what I had expected from it at the start.
The protag became way over-powered by the end of the anime(scorched halloween/yokohama disturbance). Tatsuya's op steadily increased through the anime, though that isn't a bad thing I can't think of a way he could be defeated.

The world is described vividly and the characters are also good. The backstory of the characters should have been expanded upon, and a bit more effort into making us feel for the characters.

All in all it was good, nothing more nothing less. But I definitely want another season.

Started in getting caught up with Detective Conan, just finished episode 597 which is part 1 of a two parter. I think I remember this from when I was still reading the manga, guess when the killer is revealed I'll know if I'm right.

I've just finished Sora no woto / Canaan and Zankyou no Terror recently. All three were worth it in their genre.

 

And I'm currently at episode 68 of Hunter x Hunter. I usually don't like the Shonen genre but this show is just something else...

Watched the first Episode of Aria ... Seems to be really relaxing -> I'll go on with it. But it's nothing I can marathoning or something like that. So I also look for another one to watch more frequently.

At the moment Naruto, One Piece and F/SN UBW are pure love. I love every second of the series. But Akatsuki no Yona is a big exclamation. In my opinion this season's golden jewel.

 

Otherwise I am not watching too much at the moment. It is enough following the weekly animes.

Just finished watching the first season of the first Da Capo.

It was good, and had a good plot, but generally I felt that they wasted a lot of time on useless things. The protag is meh...

I am at episode two of the second season, and it suddenly had two or three new supporting characters who are apparantly best friends with him.
