Well the only thing that I have to say for the second season of Milky Holmes is that ............ it was actually funny.

I mean after the first I really didn't have even the slightest of expectations, literally expecting nothing.

But what a shock it was to see that Milky Holmes can actually be funny.

First Squad has terrible reviews everywhere I look and I never heard of it before, and I've seen all the other movies. Wat do? Why did you pick that movie, Kurisu? Did you see a good review somewhere or something?

I picked that because soviet union, because communism, and because i love that historical era.

Well, it's not the best movie ever, it's extremely confusing, but after Milky Holmes, nothing is bad..

Does Nagato Yuki-chan not count as a sequel, i understand that it is a spin off but it seems you would still have to watch the original melancholy to understand the story. Because is it not continuing from the alternate universe from the disappearance of Haruhi, the movie. which would mean that you would have to watch the original series to understand what is going on. Even though everyone has probably seen the original it does seem to violate the rules.

from what MAL tells me it is an adaptation of the manga which is set in the universe of the disappearance here is the summary.Yuki Nagato, the shy president of the literature club, has never been very sure of herself around other people. I don't think anyone would be interested in watching Nagato Yuki-chan without knowing the rest of Haruhi but I saw episode 1 earlier and I can confirm you technically don't need to know anything to watch it.

Voted on Mardock Scramble (I'm assuming it would just be the first film and few people have seen it so why not?) and Kekkai Sensen (Studio Bones and creator of trigun/gungrave might as well try it. I'm watching all of the shows suggested though so it doesn't really matter what gets picked...kinda wish food wars was available to vote on though.)

I'm crying that people picked Dungeon Deai for the spring cycle.  They probably don't realize its another generic harem with forced game mechanics shoved in. They made a town, put a bottomless dungeon with FLOORS in it, gave everybody stats and experience, and for some inexplicable reason genderbent quite a few gods just to have them eventually join the MC's harem as he ever so slowly dives deeper and deeper into the dungeon this city is built upon.  And for anyone who ever TRIES to claim this isn't a harem, at one point in the novels, he even claims his goal in coming to the city was to gather a harem after something about his grandfather and women.

 

Seriously, if you want a game series, Log Horizon is better.  If you want a ecchi/harem, DxD is infinitely better and is airing this season.  You know what's going to be even worse?  It won't have a conclusion because it's a light novel.  So if you are looking for an ending, you will not get one. (I realize none of this is reason not to watch it, but for this seasonal choice, just WHYYY???)

Edit. Plastic Memories is an original adaption. I am very interested now.

Watched 1st episode of DanMachi. And sadly, it was exactly what I expected. Cliche as fuck. But ignoring the unoriginality, it was quite well directed, except that scene with wolf guy, which has no meaning or logic except supporting the growth of MC. I'd compare it to things like No game no life or Mondaiji tachi: Lots of enjoyability first time watching, but thinking about it afterwards you realize it's cheap and crappy.
