Funyarinpa Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Okay so I'm currently reading I/O and I find the route system quite confusing, and I decided to create a thread both for future reference and for my idiotic questions which are bound to be posted on this very thread in the near future. This thread will include spoilers like route and ending names and such, but pretty much anything else is getting tagged. Probably. No spoilers please, only finished Route A and B's 0.1 Endings so far. My (first) question: Is it possible to 100% the game after I've read all routes? I think I saw something where it's stated that Route E has a bad ending unreachable after you do any of the 1.0 Endings, is that true? (reference: The I/O walkthrough on Fuwa) Quote
Decay Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 That appears to be the case. Having not read that ending (I don't care about 100%ing stuff) and not knowing what it consists of or where it lies in route E, I can't imagine actually starting Route E without reading at least A and B's 1.0 good ends, since E casually mentions those and builds off of them. Thanks for the info, it makes no sense though: "If you want to 100% the game, you'll need to ruin your perception of 2 endings and the true route". There was something titled "100% Restoration" in the walkthrough, I guess I'l trust that. Quote
Nosebleed Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 You can always erase your save data if you're ever curious about said bad end Though most people don't care for bad ends. Little Busters suffers from this problem as well, an entire event is locked if you don't follow a certain order of routes and there's absolutely no way of getting it after, even when you complete Refrain. I don't understand why would anyone do this, just feels silly. Quote
Kaguya Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I don't understand why would anyone do this, just feels silly. To make the players who got it feel special? (if they ever learn about it, anyway). I/O is pretty good. Have fun reading it! Quote
fun2novel Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 If you get all the complete endings in all the routes then you can get to the end of route E. The only way to get a bad end in route E is if you make a wrong choice OR if you go back to the previous routes and get a wrong ending. My suggestion is get all the good endings in all routes then get the good ending in E and then go for 100% if you want. Or you could just use the walkthrough, lol. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Does it matter in which order I get the 1.0 Endings in, or will I be able to enjoy them regardless of the order I play them? (Not asking about the unlock order, but about the read order) Quote
fun2novel Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Well, there's not really winning here. It's hard to answer but in my opinion it's better to read them in the recommended order. Quote

Is that order the one in the .rtf file in the game directory? It reads: Route A 0.1 > Route B 0.1 > Route C 1.0 > Route A 1.0 > Route D 1.0 > Route B 1.0 > Start Route E Also, do you automatically get the 1.0 ending if you get the 1.0 ending first? Quote
fun2novel Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Is that order the one in the .rtf file in the game directory? Yeah, that's what I meant. Also, do you automatically get the 1.0 ending if you get the 1.0 ending first? Yes, if 1.0 is already unlocked then you get the 1.0 ending. Funyarinpa 1 Quote
