[SOLVED] Facing a really bizarre problem

Since today I have been facing a very bizarre problem with some of my VNs namely Fate hollow ataraxia and g senjou no maou. After I start the game and am at the title screen my mouse goes berserk! Basically when I am at the ticket screen in F/HA and am trying to click continue the pointer somehow flies to erase or another ticket and when i exit the game and click OK it doesn't work and somehow flies to cancel.(Not sure whether fly is the right word). I checked my other VNs and G senjou no maou  also has the same problem except in this case the pointer goes berserk and is moving rapidly through all the options(load, save, extra those things basically).

Now I'm not very techy so I have no idea what the problem is although I'm assuming its software related since the mouse itself seems to work just fine. This problem started from today and F/HA was working just fine yesterday. If anyone has any idea what the problem is and if there is a solution please help.

Have you tested with another mouse/pad to see if it's not hardware issues?

I'm sorry but that's a silly problem.

I've never encountered anything like that lol.

 

Anyway, you can test another mouse on your laptop/desktop to see if your mouse is the thing with the problem.

If not, try reinstalling. Secure your data files first though.

It sounds more like a keyboard problem to me, actually, since you say the mouse is moving specifically between the options, which would usually happen if you pressed the keyboard up/down keys.

 

Assuming it's not a laptop, maybe try disconnecting/reconnecting the keyboard. If that doesn't help, have you tried rebooting the computer yet (yes, people make fun of this suggestion, but it really does solve most problems)?

If you happen to use a joystick or similar that might cause weird things to happen with the mouse as well, I guess. Sometimes VNs automatically move the mouse to options by design, but that doesn't seem to be the problem you have.

and does the probs also occurs on other vns? if it's not, maybe your copy of g-sen and fha have curse upon them?

or maybe you've tried hitting your pc/ laptop with 45 degree of angle?

Managed to find a workaround of sorts. If i right click then cancel, the mouse seems to go back to normal. Sorry for bothering you all with such a silly issue. Maybe its about time I got a new system alltogether.
