Ironstorm Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Doing my intro thread so hi Previously tried to sign up to the site but my account got stuck in " you do not have permission to access mode and I never received an email despite being able to reset my password via that email. But lets move on I'm Ironstrom(Ironstrom on twitter) I currently work with Fastermind games & Lupiesoft. I was also briefly involved with Sekai Project for the launch of planetarian lending my skills to aid in the promotion and launch marketing. Mostly in the Vn scene I just help with promotion and PR but I'm also a games designer of my own merit. Before working in the vn scene I've worked on all sorts of games including sidescrollers of anime theme briefly being lucky enough to hit up with Nintendo and Epic games. I'm kinda here on the forum to talk a bit about the visual novels I'm involved in and possibly development on my new project. Which has vn elements but is planned to have additional game play elements Time & Eternity being at least a partial influence. But I also enjoying reaching out to other vn devs and lending support whenever I'm able to. Also a bit of an learning artist in the same interest area. I've done anime artwork & I also dip into Sci fi Artwork. With a brief foray into visual novel colouring for hire. I'm pretty good at landscapes and have some base experience using emofuri. Just a few samples of last years or the year before's art http://36.media.tumblr.com/f948507c4754c1c25164cc89b62ac2a1/tumblr_mxu6kha5gn1qk0wz1o1_1280.jpg https://36.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mejmyprRiW1qk0wz1o2_1280.jpg http://41.media.tumblr.com/39e45fa626a7306b1a2d9585fe8fcad7/tumblr_mupbxjV4zb1qk0wz1o1_1280.png http://40.media.tumblr.com/e07f1a3a6ab44e2da897c8608f2a4fe0/tumblr_metlt365X21qk0wz1o1_1280.jpg Currently keeping my new stuff to myself whilst I experiment with new styles and actually "learn" how to draw anatomy and perspective. I like to write emotional story lines with inspirations from anime/stories such as Mushishi and Natsume & friends. I like to travel the line of loss and blurring the lines between good and bad. I want the reader/player to be stuck between a really hard decision. I'm somewhat using my 12 years in level design experience to pit those hard decisions into my writing and game story lines. Well that's the usual intro of sorts (: If you'd like to hook up or want to collaborate on anything don't be afraid to ask. Diamon 1 Quote

Ironstorm Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 Thanks for the welcomes, I need at least a day to pass out from a night of emails before I start getting into the swing of things. But the first one I'l be hitting up a topic about is The Menagerie since the demo just came out. Quote

Let me know if I can do anything to help -- keeping people appraised of games and work like yours is one of our big pushes. On a more personal note, do you have a favorite VN? I'm not sure about a favourite visual novel but my first two were CLANNAD & Kirakira there are many more I'd loved to try. Its exciting to see such an active forum and welcoming community also ^-^ Quote
Zakamutt Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 >I run a reporting site with 9 other people more like 9 other people letting you link their stuff Well, nevertheless. *ahem* Welcome to the forums, may you have a nice stay~ Not sure if I'm that interested in the menagerie though, it's a nukige afaik. SoulJustIn Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 am i late welcome party? i hope not ....... Greeting, Ironstorm-san Welcome to the Fuwanovel Forums. I'm pleased that I got to know you . Quote
Ironstorm Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 Not sure if I'm that interested in the menagerie though, it's a nukige afaik. Get back to dizzy hearts already lupiesoft... To put it simply the original team has grown since dizzy hearts was originally funded. Lupiesoft has kinda since been looking at ways to better fund the development of its games and make dizzy hearts the best it can be whilst not yet trying to go back to a crowd funding campaign(yet). Whilst we may actually need it this is something we'l address in the near future. Especially with the querying for voice acting material on our games. There have been one or two hiccups along the way namely in loosing writers at awful times. The Menagerie may be looked at a project that hoped to be a shorter project that would draw more attention and better fund dizzy hearts. The reception of the recent demo release is a continued sign of the excellent writing team we've managed to assemble but still we are a team that has to freelance around other projects to keep working. If you want to ask or talk more about this please wait until I start a Lupiesoft general thread. Quote
