Down Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Ok, here's an idea I totally took from another forum I browse. Let me first explain what it is and then tell me what you think about it, if you think it'll go well I'll post a first quizz. The principle is simple: one member posts a quizz consisting of about 10 tracks, all coming from different anime OP/ED/OST. Everyone else tries to guess what anime each track belongs to BY SENDING A PM TO THE QUIZZ POSTER (for obvious reasons you don't post your answers on the topic...). After, say, 1 week, the quizz poster gives the results, and the one with the highest score (the more answers found) gets to do the next quizz. If he can't/don't want/whatever, someone else can volunteer to make the next quizz. Try to mix OST tracks and OP/ED. OP/ED are easier to find, and you can google up the lyrics and see if something comes up, while you can't do that for OST tracks and they're usually much harder to find (try to pick the 'main' tracks of the OST, the themes, not the obscure BGM heard only once). I'm not sure this can work on this forum, because there are a lot of people here and lots of participants means lots of work for the quizz poster and a potential mess, so let me know what you think about it. You mount the tracks on a video and upload it somewhere (Youtube is a pain because of copyright stuff, but there are other sites that are fine) I'll upload a first quizz and we'll try this out, like this everyone will see what I'm talking about. I will only guess the answers . My connection is extremely slow ( dl speed about 30-40 kbs) so video upload which take a long time just for a quiz is out of question. Quote

That this one is pretty hard >_> like, it was considered hard on an anime forum, and this is a VN forum... So I'll give out some hints, hope that'll help get some tracks: Track 1: This is the opening of a 1-cour series Track 2: This is from a well-known and very old movie Track 3: This is from the spin-off of an anime that was discussed here not too long ago. Track 4: Doesn't look like it, but this is from a parody-esque anime Track 5: I'm pretty sure no one here have seen this yet. Nor have I. Up to you to deduce what does that mean. (Oh, and the track itself is a remix from a very old anime) Track 6: From a recent movie Track 7: A 2 season anime from 2006 Track 8: This track is from an ongoing anime Track 9: One of the opening of a very long anime Track 10: Ending of a recent anime Track 11: Probably most of the people here played this VN Quote

I don't know, probably not a good idea on a VN forum, people don't watch that much anime. I'll unearth that maybe some day, when the community will have grown larger. Results for those who want to know: (I had a last time participant, so I guess Tief Blau and Secchan are both winner with 2 points each. You found the 10th and 11th tracks both) Track 1: Ayakashi - Opening (That anime is a bit obscure but pretty good. Last arc is actually the same universe than in Mononoke (same guy)) Track 2: Kaze no Tabi no Nausicaa OST - Sentou (That was tricky. Yet I hope everyone saw that movie) Track 3: Saki: achiga-hen episode of Side A OST - Miyanaga Teru Theme (That was quite a hard one to! This theme is really epic) Track 4: Carnival Phantasm OST - Sensou (Type-moon fellows, go watch this now) Track 5: Evangelion 3.0 OST - The Anthem (This OST is so epic, I can't even imagine what the movie will be like. Only a few weeks left!) Track 6: Ookami no Kodomo Ame to Yuki OST - Yonhon Ashi no Odori (Very very good movie. Mamoru Hosoda is probably the new Miyazaki (even though he's been there for long too...)) Track 7: Black Lagoon OST - El Sol Se Recuesta (That's some good anime too. This track was really hard.) Track 8: Hunter x Hunter 2011 OST - Ansatsu Ikka no Yakata (This adaptation kicks ass. Really. It's AMAZING.) Track 9: Gintama' - Opening 1 (Well you need to have seen at least 200 episodes of Gintama to know this one. I love it. And the anime too.) Track 10: Joshiraku - Ending (That ending is PURE GENIUS. The anime is pretty good too.) Track 11: G-senjou no Maou (Need I make a comment about the awesomeness of this?) Quote
