Tay is asking project managers to use the Hanachirasu release to mind control pacific citizens into becoming katana-wielding slaves to the regime, and eventually take over the world. Seriously, now. The place where this new release went bugs me to no end. It just seems like it's bound with the project recruitment. Couldn't it at least have a "Hot in the VN world" or whatever text on top of it so that I'm not bugged? Even the "New release" would just look so much better on top!!! Quote

Solution: We relocate the Fuwanovel Community subforum to the top (where I've always thought it should be anyway, I mean it contains the news and announcements, along with the rules ffs) and this will push the three subforums that are most commonly viewed together right where the current ad is located. It's a genius plan if I do say so myself. It would be right next to the new Visual novel discussion subforum, with development board right next to it, while still visible from the other discussion section. I do agree that it is in the completely wrong area. I first saw it and was like "huh? why is that under recruitment? wasn't jast doing that?" Quote

Nosebleed Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I don't think people that "live in other discussion" are so ignorant they wouldn't look at the sidebar once in their life. If you care about a forum, you'll visit its main page at least once. But even assuming that they don't, Visual novel discussion and project development has always been at the top since our forum is about visual novels and I believe that's the way it should be kept. I get the whole "rules being at the top" thing, but I don't think that warrants the whole board being moved to the top. And above all else I don't think re-organizing the boards has much to do with this affiliate link and would be a pointless move to make. You must be sleepy. Based brain spasm. Kaguya 1 Quote

There will be more ad experiments coming in the next few days. The placement was given exactly 8.67 seconds of thought, so the fact that it bothers so many of you is just a lucky coincidence. I'll be putting up a post in the Community board about the upcoming ad experiments. Y'know. Just to make sure we all panic and make as big a deal as possible out of it.
