This could be completely unrelated, but since it's from only 2 or so days ago I can't imagine them having 2 big secret announcements they're cooking up so close together. So. Zakamutt Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 It's not impossible that Aksys will be the only, or most important publisher given that the ZE games did much better in the West than domestically. That said, I don't think they have the capability to be an actual developer, lol. For a mildly related example, Minori actually considered an English-first release assuming Supipara sales were good enough... well, let's hope we'll have a good long tail on Eden* in that case. ...how coherent was I there Quote
kratoscar2008 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The thing is that the IP belongs to Spike, Aksys would need to buy the rights to produce it and i doubt Spike would do so (Japs loves to sit on IPs while not allowing anyone else do it, much less some gaijins). Sure they dont care to make the game but that doesnt mean they will just let it go. Plus i doubt ZE did well enough for Aksys to make such an investment. Quote
