[Spoilers] Death Parade discussion. How do you guys think this weeks finale will end? What do you think of it so far?

Personally, I have loved it so far. I saw Death Billiards and I knew I had to watch the actual series. The last episode kind of irked me though, I wasn't expecting both Mayu and Harada to be thrown into the void, and i'm not exactly why they were in the first place. I mean I assumed Harada would be the one to go down, but Mayu? Was it because she was willing to sacrifice someone else?

As for the finale, I feel like Chiyuki is going to get reincarnated, and that Decim is going to be deemed a human because of him starting to develop human emotions and get reincarnated as well. And then they are going to end up meeting each other in their new lives. But I guess that would only be viable if the anime will have a good ending, which i'm questioning after seeing Mayu getting tossed into the void, but maybe that's just me. Anyways, discuss.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends. 

 

It doesn't really surprise me that Mayu and Harada were both cast into the void, because it's already been established that Quin doesn't necessarily care for any of the people he judges. It kind of fits with what little we know about his character that he would pull a trick like that. 

 

As for chiyuki, I honestly don't know. That's the biggest wild card in the finale, is what;s going to happen to her, so I'm going in with an open mind.

You should remember that it's by MadHouse and the anime also is one which has an dark air to it and is not one of the usual always-happy stuff.

So basically I think it could go either way. it will either have a happy end like Mugi mentioned or it will have a bittersweet ending which I think is more probable.

 

Not to mention that the name of the final episode is 'Suicide Tour'.

I don't know what to make of that final scene, why is Chiyuki still there? Did Decim make a dummy for her? Fantastic final episode though, I hope there's an OVA.

Yes Decim made a dummy for her too, so she can always be there with him I like Decim so much. And that final episode ;-; ..... for an anime with only 12 episodes it was so enjoyable. And don't forget...
