Down Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I hope they go ahead and rewrite the whole thing. Tsukihime is really rough on the edge and Nasu's writing is just not the same now. It could turn it into a real ultimate version of the game with a high degree of completion. Rose 1 Quote
BananaShiki Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Get hyped. (Next issue of Type-Moon Ace will have something about the Tsukihime remake) I've learned to expect nothing from Type-Moon. They'll probably just show a couple more sketches for the girls and call it a day. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I've learned to expect nothing from Type-Moon. They'll probably just show a couple more sketches for the girls and call it a day year. There we go, much better. Quote
Kosakyun Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Here's to hoping Papa Nasu releases something more than just art samples of the remake. Quote
Skyzzed Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I'm so excited right now, I know I shouldn't expect too much, especially considering that Nasu probably already preordered Dark Souls 3, but I want to believe! Quote
BookwormOtaku Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I guess we should start taking bets which remake we'll be playing first: Tsukihime* or FF7 *Even if Tsukihime comes out first there's still the issue of translation be it official or unofficial Quote
Clephas Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Probably FF7... Square loves milking its IPs and it already announced that it was a project for the near future. Quote
Revyateil Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 Sorta more info on Tsukihime Remake! There's going to be a new character named Noel. Now for the wait for the game to be released and then another wait for it to be fan translated... Quote

Darklord Rooke Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 It's probably a question of priorities. Does a person take the time to learn Japanese in anticipation of Tsukihime or does that person instead use the time to read thousands of other pieces of fiction... Quote
Clephas Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Mmm... to be honest, I don't recommend trying to learn Japanese with a single VN in mind. To be blunt, unless you have a really extreme degree of passion, 'learning Japanese for my otaku-life' is extremely hard to do. I did it by default, because at the time, there was nothing else I wanted to learn, but I've come to realize I'm not a very good example, as I wasn't exactly a sane human being back then. Quote
Revyateil Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 Well, at least I think that I'm a very patient person to wait for this kind of thing, maybe... Nevertheless, I think it takes a lot of dedication, motivation and time to learn Japanese and for sure I know that i'm also a lazy person, so i'm just going to wait it out for a lot of years I guess. At least for now, I'm just happy hearing something regarding the Tsukihime remake because it's been like 6 years or something even though I haven't read the original (tried to read it but just can't bear it and instead looking up the information through wikis and just reading the manga), I'm really looking forward for the game to be released in 2020 or smth! lol Quote
Scorp Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I do not like Arqueid design Where is that unique style (hair and clothes) she had??? Another generic Saber clone While I like Ciel (apart of that "new" design without noses they started to use in last 3 years... At least KnK movie got a decent designs, or it would be unbearable to see another UBW)... Quote
Decay Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Looks about the same as his old hair. Except now with less dorky glasses attached to his face. Can anyone help me out with something? I think this deserves a new VNDB VN entry as opposed to just being a tba release on the old tsukihime page, but I'm confused on some of the details. Have they announced a new title for it or is it still just simply being referred to as Tsukihime (is there a subtitle there under the name?)? Does anyone have a good image to use for it (the one that appears on the top left of every vndb page, example)? Another question, where did you get the Shiki image from, is there another article about this somewhere besides ANN? Quote
Down Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 According to that Type-Moon Ace article the official name is 新生「月姫」which probably translates the best as "Tsukihime Rebirth". Quote
Decay Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Thank you. So the romanization would be Shinsei Tsukihime? Quote
BananaShiki Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 That's not the title. The T-M Ace article just said they were referring to it as the rebirth of Tsukihime, not that it was actually the title. The magazine article still referred to the whole thing as simply "Tsukihime Remake" and just "Tsukihime" Quote
Down Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I re-read the thing and you're right that it doesn't state clearly that it's the new name, my bad. Quote
Clephas Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I foresee a visit from the ufotable fairy to planet Tsukihime. Quote
XReaper Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 maybee i´m simply trapped in the past, but i somehow found them olden looks to be more appealing. especially ciels look seems more fitting to me Suzu Fanatic 1 Quote
Clowsama Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Just give Satsuki her own Route damnit! Sacchin deserves it! Quote
Mkilbride Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 A route for her is confirmed. However...I really dislike the new art. I dunno, they made Arc look like a teenager now. Everyone looks younger and less adult...they got moe'd. Quote
CeruleanGamer Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Im lookin forward for a Melty Blood sequel more than Tsukihime at this point honestly. Or maybe an improved version of Battle Moon Wars coz that game was awesome! Quote
