Chaos;Child Gets An Anime

Just like every visual novel in the science adventure series, Chaos;Child is also getting an anime.

 

 

Given that this was an Xbox One exclusive visual novel (now also announced on Playstation 3, 4 and Vita), I'm at least a eager to see what it's all about since I'd never be able to experience it otherwise.

 

Unfortunately though, given that this is a sequel to Chaos;Head I'm a bit skeptical on the quality.

Uh btw I'm pretty sure they announced an anime for Steins;Gate 0 too.

Yeah Steins;Gate 0 is also getting an anime adaptation, I think they announced all of this at once.

from the whole series only steins gate left an impact on me, rest was either badly (chaos head) or mediocre (robotic notes) animated so far. one may be biased by this fact...but thats how it is

Robotics;Notes was good, until the last half. It literally has the bad guy reveal his whole plan to the characters because he has a gun to their heads. Horribly written last half of the anime. I assume the same thing happens in the VN, because its a rather large plot point to make up.

The anime for CHaos;Head for awful. I think i gave it way too much credit that what it deserved in my rating! I've not seen Steins Gate yet. However i've heard it's highly recommended.(Out of curisoity they're are only related because of the world that it is situated in is the same correct?)

I'm super curious on how different chaos;child will be from chaos;head. In robotics;notes they bascially retconed how the "mind powers" worked in chaos;head.

Robotics;note indeed had all sorts of weird writing decisions, which makes me curious how it was done in the VN...

But it's okay because THEY BUILD A FUCKING ROBOT

Not anticipating this. Steins;Gate will probably continue to be the only good anime adaption in this series. Still, if it does turn out to have a solid director and composition writer, I might give it a shot. After hearing about this announcement, I guess I have a little more incentive to start reading Chaos;Head, lol.

I read the Chaos;Head vn, but had the good sense to avoid the anime after watching 3 episodes. But since there's no way for me to play the vn at the moment for this one, I guess I'll at least check the anime out.

Damn, the Steins;Gate anime adaptation at least took 2 years before being produced.

I'm glad this is getting a Vita port. They also have a dual-pack on the Vita with Head and Head Noah so I should get that in preparation for playing this one.

Wow wow wow, I didn't even know about a sequel for Chaos Head Oo. For me, Chaos Head is a masterpiece. I am still learning japanese to be able to play Noah, I hope this anime will be good.

Considering that each of the related titles were made by a different studio its hard for me to call Chaos;Head a bad anime overall. I think Chaos;Child will bring more fans and attention to both the original and the upcoming direct sequel.
