sirjabberwock Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I'm from the eastern U.S. ... Maryland to be specific. And I wouldn't say people lie so much about where they're from as much as they're just trying to be witty and/or funny. I must say, though, that I really appreciate the diversity of fuwa~ Quote
Zalor Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 Location is actually one of the things I never lie about on the interwebs. I'm from Portugal, just like my profile says~ We should have some kind of survey to check users' nationality sometime, seems like it'd be interesting. I know Fuwanovel's facebook page is more popular in Indonesia than in the USA (in terms of gross users) which is pretty surprising. rainsismyfav 1 Quote
sarkasmus Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Germany and I'm probably the only one like always. Quote

Max Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Mexico, as my location indicates. The diversity in fuwa is something to appreciate. I'd like to see more spanish-speaking users though :/ Quote
Kaguya Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I live in Brazil. I was surprised to see so many Portuguese-speaking people here. Quite a few prominent members are either Brazilian or Portuguese, which is strange and doesn't really mirror VN's popularity in these countries, as far as I know. Quote
Kenshin_sama Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Florida (aka God's waiting room). This state never knows what season it wants to be in, lol. At least it's never below 0. Quote

Flutterz Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 And so is Russia - and they even have a VN on Steam - but there are no Russians here. Or I haven't seen any yet. But perhaps you're right. Quote
sarkasmus Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I know at least 3 german members with over 100 posts. Quote

rainsismyfav Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Immigrant from the Philippines here (10 years ago). I now live in New Jersey, USA. I had no idea Fuwa was this popular in Indonesia (or at least its FB page). Singapore also came as a bit of a surprise. Since other people are getting a bit more specific, I'll share my state and city as well. I'm from New York City. Although the college I'll be starting Fall semester is in Indiana. Goodbye East Coast, I'll miss you Quote
Zalor Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 Immigrant from the Philippines here (10 years ago). I now live in New Jersey, USA. I'm right next to NYC (Jersey City). I LOATH it here since I work towards the west but I have to deal with NYC-related traffic jams... Gah. Maybe I'll move out and live with Dorothy in the Land of Oz. Quote
rainsismyfav Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I imagine that must suck. I'm fortunate in the regard that my school is walking distance away. To go other places around the city I rely on the subway system; while delays aren't infrequent, it's preferable to traveling by car. Also, do most people in the Philippines speak English? One of my close friends is an immigrant from the Philippines and he speaks flawless English, although he does have a bit of an accent. Quote
Rose Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 As far as I know, russians have their own place to talk about VNs. We don't really have anything like that (successful) on Brazil. Could be wrong, though. When I went to russia I was actually completely hopeless because no one else spoke english (or portuguese). It was in a small city, though, so there's that. As for russians here... Rusanon is one, right? I don't know, honestly. Maybe they're there, in the shadows. Quote
Vince Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 hiya! a little high five from Indonesia actually, i'm surprised that much people from indonesia is actually gather around at fuwa fb page, and indonesia is that much known here. i once met a western (forgot what country) who asked me back "is that even a country?" the second i say i'm from indonesia.
