New Little Busters Ex thread

So it seems like Ex is completely off the fuwanovel website, as far as i can tell. They have a link to it on doki's site, the issue being that looks even less updated than the fuwanovel one. Are we positive it's not abandoned?

I was always curious about the "progress" Fuwanovel said, because Doki's site said they had less done than what was listed on Fuwanovel.

Translation progress on the official spreadsheet is 99.58% (98% if you only account for the new lines which is what we have on Fuwanovel.)

That's what we didn't know. We said where we got our information from, that Doki never updated their page but ours at Fuwanovel was. I didn't know about that spreadsheet.

That October update took a year to come, so no, you can't assume the project is dead.

It would be weird to refer to a simple fan translation patch in that manner. People are speculating about a Sekai Project deal but who knows.

 

Either way, no, it's not dead. Progress is unfortunately slow but they haven't given up.

I also think the ammagami translation should come at the same time even tho it has bees trapped in limbo for a while now

 

In all honesty i just want the complete version of lb and of course i would be nice if they mad a translation that held up unlike the original lb

Got another one of those sheets for the Commie Subs Mahoyo progress?  The Fuwa page has said 100% TL for as long as I've known about the site, but the Commie Subs progess page has similarly said 67.99% for as long as I've been checking up on it.

I remember something like they hired the tanslators of shingeki no kyojin for the clannad translation because key wanted the best translation.

They're not actually working with Sekai on Clannad. At least, nothing like that has been announced. Sekai Project are using different people for the retranslation and they only said that they'll consider how to use any of Doki's assets but that's pretty much it.

With Clannad, they WERE going to work with Sekai Project but the community showed a very large negative backlash because the translation they are working with is quite frankly awful. So now Sekai Project simply politely backstepped away from Doki and are now redoing the Clannad translation from scratch.

 

There's no guarentee on what will happen with Little Busters. SP would have to license it first of all.

so i visited today the tl site and saw that it was picked up for translation by visual arts... does that mean the normal version or the ex version?

 

i... can't... hold... all this... hype...

Propably the all ages version; which one exactly is left to guess, although I bet they'd try to localize the latest build with all the additional content. I doubt they'd want to put EX on Steam, as those are most propably their current plans, considering their start with Harmonia. It's not like we'll lose anything - h-scenes in LB are just aditional flavor and literally don't bring anything to the story itself. I couldn't care less myself, since it's not something you'd really fap to anyway (unless you're Suika or Flutterz ).

man i am toats open to trying on new fap material, i hope they are kind of like the h scenes i g senjo no maou (especially on the main route) cuz that is exactly what i call pointless h scenes, i literally can't remember a single thing about usami's h scenes
