Keep at it! Scaling back is the right way to deal with a crazy week or two, but stopping even for a short time leads (nearly always) to dropping the project.

We believe in you!

Missed the Week 4 post and haven't been posting in general due to studying for upcoming midterms. In any case, I've trying to catch up on my reviews before learning new Kanji so I've stopped learning new kanji for the past couple of days. I should have gotten to the 495th Kanji by now had I been keeping my pace but I've barely scratched the 300 mark. Oh well, I know for a fact that once school is over, I'll have no trouble making up for this.

I guess I should mention that the Anki app for Androids is pretty useful for when I have "down time" during lectures. I can get a couple of reviews done during some of my classes which helps tremendously.

Man its been too long since I've last posted. In anycase, I've decided to postpone studying until school is over. With the way I've been sleeping lately, getting up at 8 every morning is not happening.

Hi! I just got back from a 3-week intensive ecology/evolution field course that was 24/7 intense. I had no time for new kanji, but kept reviewing. Now that I'm home, I'm studying again and didn't lose my progress. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THE SAME! Don't lose progress -- keep reviewing, and so you can pick right back up with new kanji.

I've written before that -- barring unusual circumstances -- you should try to learn a few (heck, one) new kanji a day. I still stand by that, as it'll keep up your regimen and dedication, but if you can't do that, at least don't stop reviewing.

Given that I'm always sleepy these days (even worse than before?) I haven't learnt any new kanji for a while; latest I did was 10 more afaik. Actually yesterday I did a backlog from 2 days and reached 78 reviews... but I managed, so I guess I'm still alive lol. I always kept reviewing, which has saved me~

I really should have kept up with the reviews. They've piled up wonderfully as of right now. Still now that I have more time, I'll be trying to catch up on those. Lately, I've noticed that I have issues when a kanji changes form when used as a primitive for another kanji. Some are more memorable than others but I've been wondering whether or not I should use the same practice on the primitives as I do the kanji to remember them.
