Visual Novel Translation Status (07/02/2016)
I knew that the moment you saw the title, you'll remind of some infamous Sakura franchise, and I planned to give Sakura Christmas 2 Review for the title since there's Sakura VN for Christmas. Then turned out the VN title was Sakura Santa. Don't worry, I'm not playing Sakura Christmas yet because it's not released yet (Hopefully Winged Cloud didn't get the idea for their new Sakura VN here). Oh, and the reason for the title it was from SakuSaku (K
Quite a crazy year that we have in regard of 2020, especially with pandemic and all here. Anyway just like previous best rated VNs list I'll list what's translated VNs that we have in 2020 here, and the rules are still the same in that I won't list BL, fandisc (So no Aokana EXTRA1 and Miagete FD), partial translated VNs, censored VNs (None at this year thankfully) and otome VNs. Let's see what kind of VNs that I'll list below, and I'll tell the meaning of the title at PS below. Also I'm sorry if
In 2022, the pandemic was starting to subside, so after two years of absence, we finally had conventions with several new VNs translation announcements. Of course, we still have translated VN releases, so I'll list the best-rated translated VNs in 2022. Once again, I may be subjective, so I'm sorry if some of your favorite VNs are not here, and feel free to disagree with my choice. Anyway, let's see the best translated VNs in 2022 that I chose here, and of course, the rank and the score can chan
I suppose we can say that 2021 here is the continuation of 2020 in that we're still in the middle of the pandemic, although there's a lot of vaccination right now. Of course, it won't stop the releases of the translated VNs, and it's nice to see that JAST is very aggressive regarding the release in 2021, so much so that it can rival both Mangagamer and Sekai for yearly release numbers. With that done, let's see which translated VNs I chose as the best-rated ones in 2021. I'm sorry if some of you
Since it's already 2020 which mean the year was already changed, I figure that I should make my list for best rated translated VNs from back at 2019. I know that people here might not agree with my list here seeing that they have their own best VNs list there, but still it should be fine if I give my own list here. Once again the rule is still the same in that I wouldn't list otome, BL (No Hashihime here), fandisc, and partial translated VNs. Oh and censored VNs is obviously out of window, so no

For the title here while not very creative, the meaning should be very obvious here (Combining booby because we had many big boobs woman here and quest was from Dragon Quest in regard of the setting which remind us of old RPG here). While the image header VN (Kyonyuu or Funbag Fantasy) was not my taste here, at least I knew that our Bookwormotaku here like this very much. Oh, and if Decay here like the localized title here, he should be thanking
Welcome to my list of best-rated translated visual novels in 2023, with the world back to normal after the pandemic. Of course, we still have several translated VN releases, even though the title is not as big as in several past years. But if anything else, seeing Mahoyo being available on Steam means Type-Moon showed an interest in releasing their translated VN on PC, which is quite interesting. Also, I'm sorry if some of your favorite VNs are not on the list because I may be a bit subjective w
As for this time, I decided to make my 'Top 10 translated VN at 2016' even though it's very belated for obvious reason lol. Once again, I would use some data from Conjueror's video with some modification here, and also to show of how easy the score was fluctuated. As for the rules, no yaoi and otome VN here, localized name for alias, I'll list both of Erogamescape and VNDB score if possible, and the translation must be considered complete by VNDB as of June 10th 2025 with the VNDB score would be
Welcome to my top 10 list of translated VNs for 2018, and I think it's the right time to make this seeing that 2019 is almost come. As for the rule, there's no yaoi, otome, fandisc (ie Fata Morgana fandisc), and re-release (Konosora and Chaos Child). As for my list here, my taste here is quite personal so I'm sorry if some of your favorite titles didn't available here. Here's my list of top 10 translated VNs for this year, and I hope that you'll enjoy it. As for the score currently I'm based on

To be honest the title for this week was quite cheesy and for the header image this time it was quite hard to find the fitting title. Anyway, the man on MC's lap (Yes the header image was from otome game) was Hanbei Takenaka from just recently released Destiny Princess. Anyway, this is another my review on VNTS here, and from now on I'll commented based on each segment just like last week. For my opening comment, this week was quite plain to be h
For 2024, we still have some interesting releases. However, this time, we also have several notable old titles officially available in English, such as Kanon and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, despite the latter having its sex scenes removed by the publishers themselves. Anyway, as usual, I'll list the visual novels that finished translation in 2024. Of course, I may be subjective in my choices of VNs, so I apologize if your favorite VNs are not available on my list. Like my past lists, the scores of each
Well since I'd already made two of my top 10 list based on Conjueror's video, might as well goes with the third as well which is based on the video that talk about best rated translated VNs at 2015 - therefore the scoring was already different compared to the video because it was fluctuated. As for the rules, it's still the same though with the most obvious one there will be not yaoi or otome. Also I didn't want to add euphoria here because the sex content was too hardcore, although I might cons
This is not my VNTS Review, but rather I kind of want to do my version of 'Top 10 best rated translated VN at 2017' for a long while, so here goes. Seeing that we already has Conjueror posted his video in regard of that subject on Youtube, I decided to make similar list here because personally I didn't agree with some of his choice. That said, most of my pick here was still similar to him though. As for the rule, no yaoi and otome here. Also I'll use Japanese VN name and add the English name for

Sorry for very late review here, and my reason here that I also had some real life issue like admin Tay here. Anyway for the title, since Dies Irae mean 'Day of Wrath' and for now that we just got unclear confirmation, so I decided to use lesser form for wrath here (Anger) as the title. About the announcement, well if Dies Irae will be translated and released, this is definitely big news here but for now we still lack of info here (If Dies Irae g

Since we finally had Saku Saku release along with the cute love fairy Tina at the image header, I decided to reuse 'Sakura Cupid' title here because we had love fairy and besides I think Tina (The aftermentioned love fairy) was quite fitting to be called cupid from what I said at first Sakura Cupid review. As for 2, it was to mimic the Winged Cloud who also released Sakura Beach 2 as the sequel of Sakura Beach. Speaking of Winged Cloud, apparentl
As for this week review since we have Musumaker partial patch released in which it's at 56% translated along with the release of Sakura MMO 3 back at 7th, I decided to combined both title so we have 'Sakura Brothel' as this week VNTS Review. As for the Sakura part it's pretty much self explanatory, while for the 'Brothel' part it's from Musumaker in which our MC was happened to inherit the orphanage that turned out to be the brothel when the MC must train the small girls that into a fine prostit
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for this week title since we have Mangagamer announce Escalayer exact release date and we have a sudden BL nukige release, I just combined those two into 'Sayuka's Practice Diary' with Sayuka here is the main heroine of Escalayer (By the way I always thought that it was written as Sayaka) and the localized title for the BL nukige itself is 'Hiiragi's Practice Diary'. What I can comment about this week would be it's an average seeing that there's no major rele

Since Tay this time using the sketch from Fault's artist in regard of Fata Morgana Steam release, so this week because at the picture we had characters from both Fata Morgana (Maid and White Haired Girl) and Fault (Selphine and Ritona), I made the title 'Fata Morgana and Fault Crossover Fan Fiction'. Oh, and speaking about Fata Morgana it was quite interesting, although the second door was quite bloody imo (Also if you looking for moe girl in Fat
Apparently this week Tay was at around Carribean where hurricane Irma was just passing, and the damage at there was quite severe in which it also affected the internet connection as well. So once again, unfortunately we couldn't had VNTS here just like last week. Even so, I decided to make the VNTS Review here so enjoy and if I missing the updates here just write in comment.
For the title, since we had both of Utawarerumono 3 and Boukaku release there I decided to join two title here - Bocc

Sorry for late blog post here. For the title, this week I choose ultimate title (You knew what I mean if you play Dangan Ronpa) and since the image header was from Homeless School Girl VN, so I'd use Homeless Girl (I'm not using school since the synopsis indicate that the girl couldn't attend school) from the VN title. Okay, about the VN itself, I'd read the VNDB discussion and let's just said that the girl was suffered many rape and humiliation,
For this week VNTS Review, I just make a parody one of the new project, Hyouryuu Kangoku Chronos, by changing 'Chronos' with 'Gaia' in the English title of it, Chronos the Floating Prison Ship, so we have 'Gaia the Floating Prison Ship' as this week VNTS Review. The reason for 'Gaia' name here is because we have a new plan from Ninetail that they'll do the Kickstarter to localize Venus Blood Gaia, which mean obviously it'll be their next project. Welcome to this week VNTS, and as what I can say

Frankly with 4 image at header of VNTS I was quite confused with the title (But I appreciate your effort, admin Tay), so since 2 of 4 header was came from quite popular VN, I decided to use the title based on those 2 VN. Twilight is actually quite infamous with the vampire fan, but I guess it's kinda fitting for the man behind the VN itself until a little while ago. And purgatory was obviously reference to Tokyo Babel duh.
Welcome to my 2nd

Edit - I knew that VNTS Image Header was from Dangan Ronpa Killing Harmony, but I think I would still using Sakura Cupid as my title here because it was more fitting to reflect Saku Saku early release plan which as of the VNTS publish time was two days ago (At 25th).
The title in this week was once again had Sakura title, and this time it's Sakura Cupid. As for the reason, it was because in the upcoming Saku Saku release (At 31st) we would h

For your info I was type this at the tab, so forgive me for some shortcoming here. Anyway, as for the title because we had Muv Luv released, and the sequel (Alternative) was happened to be inspiration for hit manga Attack on Titan, so I decided go to use title Attack on BETA (Since Attack on Titan also had prequel titled Before the Fall, so I decided to use the same title, although the picture for title inspiration was girls from Muv Luv playing

This week title should be obviously that I just combine 'Nippon' from 'Go Go Nippon' and Letter from 'Root Letter'. Besides I think there's some writing that using 'Letter from ....' in some newspaper at least iirc. Well, here's this week VNTS Review and to tell the truth I kind of expected that Mangagamer will bring many updates this week, but apparently not so it's slightly letdown. Lack of batch of update aside, at least there's some up from M
