The Merchant of Tenbridge Review
This week title is come from one of Shakespeare's play, The Merchant of Venice, in which I changed the word 'Venice' to 'Tenbridge' in which the latter is the place setting in Newton VN (Tenbridge University). The reason for the title is obviously because we have Laplacian did manage to release Aojashin on time and that we have Shakespeare in Aojashin (Not as the heroine, but as one of the MC). Other than Aojashin release, we also have several updates with both of Tokyo Onmyouji and Erovoice exact release date announcement. Overall I can say that this week is an average one to me (Although of course for some people this week can be a big one thanks to Aojashin's release), and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
We have Aojashin was released at 9th (One day before the promised date, so at least they do well on that matter), and as expected some didn't respond it nicely which to say is quite understandable because Laplacian decided to removed the sex scenes along with changing the setting for one of case by making the heroine is university student and thus removed Kimiyume school setting reference (The writer's way to communicate the decision did help little with the anger). That aside, it's still nice VN to play if you want a VN that has the same premise as Fata Morgana and a dark story, so you can play it if you didn't mind the lack of sex scenes and have fun. If anything else, at least there'll be several new contents that was supposed to make up for the sex scenes removal along with the music mode addition. By the way it's too bad that the project to restore the sex scenes was cancelled, but I suppose I'll just move on from this because it's not like this is the first time a well received VN got censored release overseas (Previously there're ChuSingura 46+1 and Noraneko duology).
From Mangagamer we have them announced the exact release date for Erovoice, and unlike Aojashin obviously the sex scenes of it are still intact. For anyone else who interested to get it, it'll be released at 24th later. As expected Degica did released the new chapter of Yumemi Dreamer at each Thursday, and in this week we have the fifth chapter of it was released. We also have Tokyo Onmyoji exact release date like I say above, and for the date it'll be at 25th later so you can note the release date if you want to play it. Visual Arts has a plan to release Loopers in this year (2022), and let's see if we can see it done later. Lastly we have artlink announced that they'll release SugarKiss at this month, and with this now we have all of Hachimitsu Soft VNs localized by artlink.
As usual we have some updates from fan translation. For the updates we have Harugi was at 51% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 85% translated, Chicchakunai Mon was at 90% translated, Eustia was at 94.70% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 71.84% in programming, Senmomo was at 30.38% edited with Chapter 2 was at 71.64% edited, 57 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 10 scripts worked on, and finally we have Loverable was at both fully translated and edited with the new progress that it's been at 73.34% approved (It would be like the equivalent of QA for the info). For Tsukihime Remake update we have Arcueid Day 10 was fully translated with Day 12 was at 83% translated. Lastly we have the team who translate WA 2 announce that they'll work on WA2 FD (Mini After Story), and it'll tell the story that happened after each routes in Coda. As for the progress there's still none, but at least the translation work of it shouldn't be as long as the whole main VN seeing that it's a short length VN.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
