I... Actually didn't expect them to make another one! The first season was very hit-and-miss, but it had fantastic moments. With proper directing the sequel could be excellent.

Yeah. When I saw this on my YouTube homepage, I was also very surprised. Clearly there was a probability through the OADs but 100% I did not expect it. 

Loved this anime actually, but it is kinda long ago. If I would still watch anime then it would be one of the ones I would rewatch though.

I never actually finished the first season, despite holding it in high esteem. Probably just busy at the time.

Still, there's something going on with anime these days. Sequels to old stuff returning. I think the mainstream popularity may be causing a shift in the purpose and value of anime.

Well I guess good to see one of the anime get the second season of it. That said though in regard of Ancient of Magus Bride here, what I only know is that the VA for the female MC here is Kiritani Hana aka Kirihana here who currently become well known for her role as Anya in Spy x Family (Good for her, although as for Anya I did hear Sora of Nine quintology in her voice), and in here she manage to demonstrate different tone as Chise (At least her voice is not like Nene or Lena here). Anyway may as well check the anime later if I have the chance.
