They might simply make something different from the 3 routes in the VN and take some stuff out of each of them. I hope the plot won't just follow the Fate or UBW route though.

Warning: For those of you watching the Mekakucity Actors anime or reading the Kagerou Days manga this will spoil the story. Though parts of the anime will be original there are a lot of elements, including the backstory that will be similar. Proceed at your own risk. Though I personally am still loving the anime despite already knowing the original source material so I'd encourage you regardless. So I've seen a lot of people enjoying Mekakucity Actors and its intricacy and mystery. But I figured some might not know or not have seen the original work it's adapted from which is a series of music videos created by Jin. I decided to make this thread to share with you all the orignal story and maybe get some new fans of it. Below is every original music video with a summary underneath explaining what is going on in it. There are 22 songs in total. Note that every music video is linked and as a whole they form a story. Make sure to pay attention to the lyrics and the images so you can get the most out of it and hopefully you enjoy it as much as I did. Click on the title and you'll be taken to the respective video. ...aaaand I really need some feedback on it. Somehow it turned into one of the most embarrassingly pretentious things I've ever made, so I can't really tell myself if it's good or not. So... what do you think? It is currently set as unlisted, so are there any changes I need to make before I upload the final version to Youtube? (Or should I simply bury it under a mountain and forget I ever made it...?)

Seems like a codec issue to me, try uninstalling ADV Player HD instead and any further codec packs (CCCP etc) should the issue persist.

A warning for Yumina the Ethereal. Has a big JRPG element, which means you will be grinding your level for hours in order to beat the boss fights.... -Yes, Tears to Tiara has gameplay. Kinda of a real time strategy/tactic -Sekien no Inganock has mini games, if that counts -So does Shikkoku no Sharnath - War of the Human Tanks - Princess Waltz (loved this one) - Gadget Trial (Hilarious) That's all i can think of at the moment....

Daibanchou Big bang Age is a nice one to try out If you've played sengoku rance.

DanganRonpa 2 is coming out later this year, so it might be the right time to catch up. Same goes for Corpse Party (BloodDrive coming out really soon), though only in Japanese (and on the Vita). Since you played Sengoku Rance, why not try more games from the Rance series?

A lot of media in general has romance I guess.. and it really depends on your taste. A lot of people love to read moege, romance focused VNs and school settings. I personally prefer VNs without the school setting and too much romance though, and believe me; there are enough VNs to pick from! Even if you can't read Japanese, there are enough TLd ones. Like already mentioned, games from 07th Expansion are a great example if you're looking for almost 0% romance. More examples of VNs without too much romance are I/O, the zero escape series and the infinity series. Without love, it cannot be seen

Oh, I didn't knew that you wanted PC games. But if you want to, you can actually play it using an emulator easily. I recommend using PPSSPP if you do want to use an emulator.

You could try Key stuff (Clannad, Little Busters), Hoshizora no Memoria, G.senjou no Maou, Sharin no Kuni, the Infinity series and Grisaia no Kajitsu.
