CCD is not an image, it's just a header file containing some data required for CloneCD to manipulate the actual IMG file it's attached to. They need to be in the same exact folder to work, as CCD simply points to the IMG file anyway. You can completely omit the header files and just mount the actual images instead.

Don't force me to download that MuvLuv copy to show my 7 year old PC is able to run it without any hassle. One word - Get Power ISO. Daemon Tools is shit. .ccd is a control file used by CloneCD software to mark the properties for a real image file. In other words, you're not running the actual image, you're trying to run it through a control file and I'm not even sure why DT doesn't recognise it, since it should. You should also have a file called "MUVLUV_EXTRA.IMG" within the same directory as well (either that, or some sub-directories). Try to run the IMG instead the CCD file.

Normally .ccd files are linked to an .img and a .sub file. If these are not in the same directory, the image cannot be mounted.

Little Busters was an insanely influential VN for me, and I love it to death, but it's flawed to the bone. It really depends on how much you like Key's approach to storytelling, magic, whatnot. It doesn't have much of a plot, alot of the drama is kinda whatever, and the heroine routes range from god awful to decent at best, imo. But, the true route is basically made for people who believe in friendship and the concept of it. It's rich with power of friendship and such and such, and to alot of the english fanbase, extremely heavy on the emotions. So, take it as you will. (Honestly my biggest issue with Little Busters is that all the routes choose to focus on very ill-developed romance instead of the central theme of friendship. It makes the message really inconsistent.)

Just finished Ruitomo and am totally fucking dumbstruck by Akaneko's route. Listening to the OP forever for hours.

What the hell why is the name Aoki Ume not even mentioned in this thread. Her character design is something I never forget. When I look at a character of hers I instantly know who it was drawn by. It's such a unique and distinct art style and gave life to some great characters I always remember. Particularly her eye design is one of my favorites of all time. A lot of artists tend to make the eyes really pop out yet Aoki Ume's characters' eyes usually just blend in with the face and don't have extremly vibrant colors, they just have a charm to them i can't get tired of. At least know her for her character design in Madoka Magica. That's the bare minimum. Though my favorite example of her is Hidamari Sketch <3 Also Naoshi Komi for his work in Nisekoi which I really enjoy seeing.

The worst thing about Akuma no Riddle thought is that it was misleading. From the art and description and maybe even the first episode it looked to be really good. Then, BAM! You get squat.

Yea I've downloaded different versions, etc, basically tried about everything that I can think of.. I guess I'll just wait for it to randomly start working! or something.. EDIT: WELL THEN. Now that I don't touch it for a few days, it suddenly has 60 fps.. that is so freaking strange. EDIT EDIT: Apparently after my USB DDR pad was plugged in, the game works flawlessly. If it is unplugged, I get 1 fps.
