A little announcement, thanks to the new people we've been recruiting during august concerning the different assets creation, we might be able to release some playable content (ie a very short demo) relatively soon! I can't promise for sure, but you can expect it for second half of September if everything goes well (well, everything goes well only in an ideal world, so there might be some delay). Content will be Day 1 of common route, and there should be around 20 minutes of reading content. Hopefully day 1 will be a good introduction to our world setting, to the story and to some of the characters! Get hyped (or not)! thanx suikashoujo, i had a great time competing with everyone as well, congrats on the silver too i cant believe we three hung in there it became an endurance match at some point lol. also congrats chocolate. loved seeing your stuff as well like your style keep it up both of you and hope to compete in future fuwa contests with you guys. and special thanx goes out to mellow for hosting a fun if not occasionally nerve fraying contest .

Hi! Right off the bat here is my vndb: http://vndb.org/u65062/list I've been pretty much lurking the entire time, but decided to introduce myself since new development boards caught my attention (well, not so new now but I'm a slowpoke) I'm very happy to see that community is so active in this department - I can't wait so see how some of the vns listed at the moment turn out (Lucid9 *wink* *wink*) and also wanted to share something which I'm currently working on. Since programming is something I enjoy doing in my free time I'm experimenting with openGL and even have some results to show off: http://webmup.com/LMlT3/vid.webm. This is probably first thing which I didn't scrap after few days/weeks of trials and errors (it works!). Currently I'd like to recreate one of the MLA scenes batalistic scenes with it and post it somewhere as a demo/open-source/(hopefully) C++ Ren'Py alternative (fingers crossed!). If anyone is interested in source code I'll post a github link. My journey with visual novels started probably the same as for most - with Katawa Shoujo. Since then I've read plenty more and plan to read even more in the future. I'm open to any vn recommendations! I hope I missed something extremely good and you guys will correct my wrongdoings.

Since you've turned to philosophy, you'll almost never establish any concrete answers. Outside of the physical world what makes a dog, a dog; a cat, a cat; a fish, fish; a bird, a bird? What makes you or me or it human? Perspective does, philosophically speaking. (I may be wrong, but so be it, I am human.)

I'm a huge, HUGE Zero Escape fan, and I would agree with this statement. I think, on the whole, VLR is a better game, both puzzle wise and presentation wise, but I still like the setting and tone of 999 a bit more. 999 felt like you were always under pressure, trying to escape from a life or death situation, whereas VLR didn't have as much tension. I still highly recommend seeing both games to their conclusion; each is a fantastic ride with a lot of twists and turns along the way.

Still in the Rin Route in Katawa Shoujo. Till now it's really nice and her personality let me smile and laugh a lot. Looking forward to the end. Greetz

I guarantee you it's all virus free. If you get any type of warning from your anti virus, it's a false warning, some anti virus detect some nodvd cracks as viruses but they're clean.

Oh sorry didn't see it. Well the error itself (the japanese bit) says the same thing. "This game can only be played in Japan" "It requires a Japanese version of Windows" I can only think maybe change your clock's timezone to Japan as well? Either that or the nodvd crack failed.

Just know that it's still being worked on and wait, if you hear nothing in a year then there's likely a massive issue, otherwise just sit back, grab a cup/pint/liquid measurement of your favourite beverage and wait... likely while doing something else doing things this way let's the guys working on it feel less pressure and get less annoyed, allowing for a more pleased translation crew that will likely feel better working on the next patch/release they plan this is coming from a guy who had to do all of the soundwork (including a voice-over) for a production piece while having a group of people breathing down his neck
