Doddler has used photoshop to smudge the colors a little in a couple imouto paradise CGs, that's pretty much it. If they don't have the originals, they have two options, one is commission a new artist to redraw those portions for them. This adds quite a bit to the budget of a project and it may not even be possible to get permission from the original creators to make those kinds of alterations. The other option is to request the original artist to redraw those portions. Good luck with that. JAST has canceled at least one project due to the uncensored CGs being unavailable, because there is no feasible way for them to properly decensor it themselves.

As long as Microsoft isn't selling my personal information to others (or allowing it to be distributed through security breaches), I'm okay with information collection. What credit companies do is much worse. They're basically distributing your confidential personal information around, making it easier for criminals to steal your identity. I just don't see anything wrong with anonymized data collection. If I'm going to be targeted with ads, I'd rather they be USEFUL ads for products I'd actually want to buy. Knowledge is power. I can't buy products I don't know about. Remember: at some point you had to learn that VNs exist. Wouldn't you want others to know they exist too? That's the goal of targeted marketing: linking sellers with interested buyers.

I think I was damaged by the hundreds of mosaiced vns I've read; I can't even look at the non-mosaiced HCGs anymore -- they look real creepy to me now xD (I can only imagine how'd they look to a native Japanese that has been brought up on mosaics from the get-go).

Sekai Project should just contract out sales of its adult titles to Mangagamer or JAST. There's really no point in them having their own shop. Mangagamer can handle both physical and digital distribution. JAST and J-List are equally capable (though JAST seems to have a no DRM stance on digital releases that might cause issues for Sekai Project). Calling BS here. Mangagamer doesn't use a different brand name for Steam.
